Does anyone have an idea who we will take with our first pick, guessing we finish around 8th-11th.

u guys need another ruckmen/key forward
what about tyrone vickery (i think i spelt it wrong)
similar to kruezer in the position he plays
however i think he may have done a knee a few years ago

We do, but we need one that can come in and make an impact in 2009. That's why it will be interesting when trade week comes around at years end, and what the club decide to do.

Forget about about guys like Watts, Rich and Naitanui. They will be long gone by the time we get our first selection. The guys to look out for are:

Jack Ziebell
Hamish Hartlett
Michael Hurley
Chris Yarran
Lewis Johnston

yeah this is right.
there are six stand outs and good players going up to around pick 30.

vickery's body isnt ready for afl yet.
we need a mature, big body that is ready to play kp.
like geelong with harry taylor this yr.

We play Port at home. ;)

Port have a tough run, and we should stay ahead of them if we beat them.
Freo (AS), Saints (TD), Us (TD), Pies (AS), Dees (AS), Roos (MCG)

Dons however have a very good run:
Dees (MCG), WCE (Sub), Crows (TD), Dogs (TD), Roos (TD).

The could win their next 3 games and finish 1-2 ahead of us IMO.

Looking a lot like pick 5, unless Port (or we) produce something unexpected.

Port should win 2 more (Fremantle and Melbourne) and we might only get one more win vs Port themselves at home. Our run home is as tough as anyones.

We tend to play O.K. in Adelaide. I'd have the Crows game next week as a maybe.

Actually if we upset the Dogs we could win 3 in a row going into the last 3 weeks........but I doubt it.

The Port game will be the play-off for 4th IMO............the Hartlett cup?;)

I like it BB, the Hartlett Cup.
I'd also give us a chance in Adelaide, and we'd have to be a chance vs Nth Melbourne as well.

At least the final 6 weeks will give us a good indication of where we are at in the AFL pecking order. Only losing to Sydney last week by 2 points was a good start.

Would be very pleased with any of those 5...imo Hurley and Hartlett will be out of reach, but who knows
