Hi again all.

Awful night last night, but hopefully better times ahead. I believe a major part of our woes are the terrible starts we are having in games. Both Carlton and St Kilda should have put us away in the first term but we were still in the mix due to their inaccuracy. Last night again, same story. It's going to be hard to win games when consistently losing the first quarter, from there it is catch up. :(

Thoughts?

Been a problem for The Tigers for years.

At the moment it may well be a result of our inexperience... players get loaded up with their plans, structures & instructions pre game and are not quick enough to make adjustments when the other teams come out with all guns firing in Q1.

At qtr time the coach gets a chance to get into their heads and make some changes and we settle.

I hate it... we almost always seem to be trying to come from behind.

I've been saying it all along the DANGER was Hawthorn getting the jump, quite right happened in both R 1 and 2 fortuntaley they were inaccurate. we weren't going to be so lucky 3 times in a row. wakey wakey hand off snakey coaching panel. looks to me it takes the heirachy 30 minutes to determine the lay of the land and at qtr time the head coach standing their like the mayor of hiroshima. NOT GOOD ENOUGH...The conditions were atrocious last night 10 goals should have WON the game....it was a deplorable effort from RFC in every way shape and form
