Our forward line needs Viagra!

I'm still seething from the discusding bumming from the Bummers, but it's blatantly obvious that our forward line is completely impotent without Fevola.

In fact it would be an interesting exercise to 'rest' him to see which of the pansy, patsy soft-c@ckcs that are paid to kick goals there would do.

FISHER is the main offender. I really thought he would 'rise' to the occasion this year, but he's limper than a dead worm. The guy picks up easy kicks and has a kick about as penetrating as John Wayne Bobbit...

Wiggo isn't a true forward, he's more like a sweeping midfielder, and Eddie Betts is a goal sneak/midfielder, but still hasn't 'risen' to the dangerous (rapist) level a la Milne who can hurt teams when needed. We need to draft a handy forward like the Scum did with Medhurst..

SO we have Kruezer who could do a bit of a role, we have Waite, but he's filling holes down back, we need some dynmaic Kenny Sheldon type forwards who can kick 2 or three goals a game, as like this article correctly points out, we will be a shlepper team for a while!

port offered richmond pick 28 last year for shultz , and shultz has had a better year this year.

pettifer kicked around 40 goals last year and is finding it harder this year because of reiwoldt & morton and even edwards comeing on.

petts has done alot more than both betts & fish .
surely if you need waterboys with so many carlton supporters around it wouldnt be difficult to find volunteers.

Pettifer had a couple of not so bad years. Schultz has done sweet fa. They will both be gone from the Richmond list next I'd say.

I'd take Fish and Eddie any day over those two thank you very much.

I'll get criticized for saying this but I's definitely take Pettifer. Talented goal kicker who just needs a kick up the bum.

and I agree with the original poster.

Everyone goes on about our need for big forwards but I think we need goal kicking options in general as much as anything.

Lecras and McKinley are two guys I'd really be trying to lure over. Both out of contract. I perfer Lecras but we have a better shot at McKinley.

Yarran or Hartlett are two players in the draft who will probs be around at our pick who could do really as small forwards next year and Hartlett in particular would eventually move into the midfield.

what are you on about? our forward line is soooooo one dimensional. ffs, fevola is the only forward performaning consistently, we need more options. there is no bandwagoning here.

I know where you are coming from but when you consider how much ball is directed Fev's way - it is surprising these guys even have the averages they have

You would be really surprised to know that Kenny averaged 1.3 for his career while Edddie is so far averaging 1.1
