Whats the latest with pendlebery? Did john anthony play today against North? How was cook i havent seen him yet.. only seen parts of stanley.

Iles , cook ,stanley and cox played today. Anthony was injured and others rested

None of them got into it today -lucky if they had 8 touches between them

Cox has got uncapped talent. He will be a star in two years time... Mark my words!

Stanley did a couple of nice things today. Certainly looks like a very good prospect.

Cook and Iles were quiet... Give them time!

This one's going to come back and bite you.

I don't think he has an AFL position, and would be very suprised if he makes it. Certainly worth a punt as a third round rookie pick, but I would be astonished if he became a star.

i thought cook was quite good today - wouldve knocked up close to 10 touches imo.

cox looks ok but as vinnie said, he seems to be an in-between player.

iles runs damn hard and should play a few games this year.

stanley........i love this guy. seems pretty raw but should also play a handful of games in the ones this year.

I like the looks of all of them.

Danny Stanley: A player who goes in with his head over the ball and doesn’t take a backward step, Stanley could end up the find of the 2005 Draft (Magpie-wise, anyway). Although he has a slight hamstring strain, it is nothing too serious, and he will be fine for round one of the pre-season.

Shannon Cox: An in-between forward (much like Egan), Cox can play as a tall or small. Has a good leap, and has put on muscle since arriving at the Lexus Centre in December.

Danny Nicholls: A stocky little player with plenty of pace, you sense that the Dandenong Stingray has good goalsence and a touch of cheek, too!

Alan Toovey: No frills defender who gets the job done. Built in a similar fashion to Maxwell, and plays very much the same way. Undersized, but gives his all.

Sam Iles: A nuggetty, hardworking midfielder, Iles has quietly gone about his work. May find himself in the back pocket.

John Anthony: A bottom aged draftee, Anthony could be a wildcard in the Magpies mix in 2006. An excellent work ethic and a willingness to learn, Anthony is an exciting key back prospect.

Ryan Cook: Cook has already stacked on the kilos, and has made an impression in his first few months at the club. The coaches may see him as a potential wingman.

Dale Thomas: Thomas is an excitement machine – and has plenty of tricks up his sleeve. His thighs are already a good size, and his fitness base is building nicely. Will play seniors this year.

:)

I rate all of them quite highly. Pendles played for the Gulls on Friday in his first match since his GF was diagnosed days after Christmas.
