i think our next block are very crucial to where we finish. As well as we have done so far, the real test starts now. This is the draw:

Port at port
Cats at mcg
Swans at Marvel
Crows in mcg
Gws in spotless

Port is always a hard road trip no matter how they are going.
Cats will be looking for revenge from prelim.
Swans play the away small ground well this year.
Crows again revenge on mcg.
Gws in syd will prob have more players back be then.

Thoughts?

I have faith.
Think the club knows it too. Peddaling on nicely waiting for this block. Its like the game against Essendon was a warm up or stepping stone for things to come.

I think we go in favourites to 4 of those.

If we bring the pressure, Port crumble. Beat them in Adelaide last year too.
Cats at the G? It's at the G. No problem.
Swans at DC comics Stadium - could be tough. They play that ground well. Of any team to give our home game to Etihad, they give it to these guys? Old South Melbourne MCC fans I expect would be a bit pissed at them not playing at the G too.
Crows at the G - see cats at the G
GWS at Spotless - I think they'll be out of finals contention by then.

Another 6 day break against Port. I reckon fatigue will start to build up and we will drop the game against them. I'd back us against Cats easily.
Swans and Crows both 50/50 - let's say we win 1.
GWS we will beat unless they get all their players back, then it's 50-50.
So at best I'd say 4-1, at worst I don't think we'll go worse than 2-3.

All of those teams should be extremely worried.

Win all of them

Port at port - LOSS
Cats at mcg - WIN
Swans at Marvel - LOSS
Crows in mcg - WIN
Gws in spotless - WIN

Recon we go 3-2 or there abouts. We are more than a good chance in all 5 games, but recon we will lose one of the interstate trips and swans at etihad will be tough... would have won easy at the 'G.

If we can go 4-1 we’ll be absolutely laughing.

I reckon we go 3-2, not sure which ones we drop though. And I fancy us in all of them to be honest, but I’d be shocked if we didn’t drop at least 1, but most likely 2.

If we can win the next two before the bye then we’ll be in the box seat to finish top 2.

only game we might lose is poort game. rest of those teams are shit

I can't see any team beating us at the MCG. Out of those 5 i'm most worried about port. GWS will probably be closer to full strength then so that will be a big test as well. Adelaide and Geelong will both crumble at the mcg like in finals last year, not to mention adelaide haven't looked very good this year.
