Richo without doubt is the Icon of the club for the past 15 years.. People love him, people love to hate him and others just love to watch him..

How many times do you hear opposition supporters say "Öh, Richo is out... Damn, I wanted to see him go off... or miss a goal from 10m out..." That's Richo, he can win a game, lose a game but he always makes a game.

In an icon, you need something special and different.. something that grabs your attention... Richo has it all... But i will stick my neck out and say the litte goal sneek "Nice Arse" NAHAS will be the next tiger legend..

It is a big call so early, yes i know, but he has the stature of a 14 year old boy but the balls of a bull.... He will be our next legend and i can see the crowd singing NIIIIIIIIIIIICCE ARRRRRRRRRRRRSSSSSSEEEEEEEEEEE ala Riiiicho

Richo is my favourite player, i will no doubt be an emotional mess when he retires... But Nice Arse excites me and i look forward watching him each week.

I too like Nahas and what he brings to our team currently. However if he becomes an "icon of the club" to the degree you suggest, we are well and truly screwed. I think cult figure is more his go.

yeah i agree, if he can put some muscle on and truly become the player that his potential will allow him to be, then he is the man. cotchin of course is the other candidate, when he gets his body right, fitness, full preseason and some muscle, then he could be the other option for our next icon.

Cotchin is most likely to be the next face of Richmond, Nahas the cult figure (although part of me worries he'll be Jake King II and everyone will be paying out on him 12 months from now)

Wash your mouth out! How dare you put Nahas and King in the same sentence!

The difference is Nahas can actually play!

Prince of Persia + Breath of fresh air = THE FRESH PRINCE

Its shocking how much you notice the laziness of a player like Nathan Brown when you compare him to THE FRESH PRINCE.

Nahas work rate is unbelieveable. I watched him last night chase down a player who handballed the ball off and Nahas kept running chasing down the second player. Great stuff and it's players like him we need at the team.

I'm loving the little guy, don't get me wrong. But there are similarities. He had 8 touches last night of which 4 were effective. Just 2 tackles. But a lot of people put him in their best because they love his work rate and attitude. People were doing the same thing with King 2 years ago.

If we have another icon like Richo we will be in trouble.

We need to have many icons probably one in defence, forward line and midfield.

Look at Geelong they have Ablett, Johnson , Bartel etc. Brisbane had Voss, Lynch, Black, Aka etc.

Great teams have many great players.

:)CALL me cynical, Ranger, but I look at it like this.
When it comes to work rate, attitude, tackling, chasing, one percenters, whatever, Nahas is only doing what ALL AFL footballers SHOULD be doing!!!
The Tiger masses have fallen in love with the kid as this concept of tackling, pressuring, chasing in the forward half is a foreign concept to our club and has been for a long time.
Nathan Brown should be doing it, Daniel "f*****" Connors should be doing it, Troy Simmonds should be doing it, Mark Coughlan, Richard Tambling, Joel Bowden, Adam Pattison ... ever one in the 22 should be doing it!!!
I would suggest eight touches, four effective ones and two tackles would largely go unnoticed in a team such as Hawthorn, Geelong, St Kilda, Western Bulldogs where everybody plays their part in applying pressure!!!!
