I was jsut thinking after i just chekced out the ladder and the way its going we will end up with picks 2 and 5 because the Doggies are on 4 wins and i dont think they will win 2 or more games for the rest of the season so instead of us getting 2 and 4 we will get 2 and 5, which is still okay but im hoping we get bottom now

I stil think we're worth two more wins at least, Sante. Although I felt today was going to be one of them. We'll beat Hawthorn, and at least one of Adelaide or Sydney in my opinion (whether we like it or not!)

Sydney will have too much to play for to lose against us. Round 22 will determine either double chance or home final so will be a massive game for them.

If we're without Ottens for a couple, then adealaide will take care of us too.

We seem to be thinking pick 2 is a certainty, but on the form of the Bulldogs they'll be lucky to beat Hawthorn, which could mean we end up with 3 and 6........

KPP first, onballer second please Mr Miller.

if we couldnt beat what was essetially the collingwood reserves i dont think we will beat the crows at home. sydney will be too strong, the cats will tear us apart and that only leaves hawthorn. Hopefully we have a bad day because if we win it then the dogs will finish below us and get a shot at hodge if he walks out.

If Bulldogs beat Hawks next week (get there early for that game) then we should still finish below them assuming losses to Geelong, Crows and Swans.

Geez I'm not a fan of this hoping to lose for picks situation. I hope this is the last time we're in this situation for a while. The saints had 3 years in bottom 2 and I know they've prospered, but I think I'd be committed if I had to endure that agin, especially with next year's new start etc...

I agree, It was hard to get excited about anything yesterday given the Collingscums list of absentees. That dud couldnt take advantage of that speaks for itsself.

Not much about yesterday to suggest that we can beat anyone but Hawthorn. Bullies will pull an odd one out the hat as they are under pressure to show something before season end and hopefully Donald can rejuvinate the hawks enough to see them over the line.

That im talking like this, means that this is the lowest point of my time as a Richmond supporter. I hope Danny reads these forums to see this tragic approach to the final month of the season.

yes it is pretty sad. i guess i am just trying to be practical, and know that come draft day i am going to be a lot happier if we have 2 of the best half dozen kids in the country in yellow and black than one. essentially yesterday was perfect as we only just lost with 20 seconds to go and still in line for the priority. it pains me to want to lose but hell it helps the cause more than winning does at the moment. not only for the draft picks but when it comes to list trimming the season wont be glossed over with a few cheap late wins.
