How is it vindictive to want cheats out of the game? Plenty of people would give their non-preferred nut to play AFL. Those guys had their chance and opted to CHEAT. **** them all.
 
I hope they all leave just to **** essendon over. It's almost worth doing just for the lols.

I will still call them drug cheats. **** them.

But on the other hand most of us welcomed Justin Charles back. And he was a cheat too.

I am tipping a bleak year for the bummers and I can't see how they can stick fat when they aren't allowed to train. If my job injected me with shit and I got banned I'd think they are a bunch of campaigners. Just because they are footballers we're supposed to think they will happily go back to the club that ****ed them over?

I wouldn't say our mids are a huge problem either. We win through the middle more often then not. Yes north, a side with great inside strength showed us up and we need a big body in there, but overall our midfield group is pretty good.
Put Goldstein into our midfield and he hits it to space. It's a different story

Hang on, you accuse Chaplin of failing twice in finals but give our mids a free pass when they themselves have gone to pieces 3 finals in a row, 6 scoring shots in a half is not the fault of Chaplin, Chaplin is part of the best defence in the league and that is not going to change any time soon, get used to it.

Watch the port Adelaide game and see how many times players run straight through him like he isnt even there, in the first quarter especially.
Having a key defender that's as poor as he is one on one is a liability.
He is also 30 this season and playing a key role. He is going to be replaced sooner rather than later whether you like it or not.

Also, no free pass for the mids. The common theme in our finals is that we were beaten in stoppages/clearances.
An upgrade to our ruck and a contested bull would go a long way.
Finding a better ruckmen will be tougher than replacing Chaplin as Maric is only getting beaten by the cream of the comp.

I reckon they are all cooked.
Might be wrong, but I just reckon personally I'd avoid taking any despite the ability of some of them.
 
If it did happen though I'd rate Hurley as the top pick due to his versatility.
Heppell can play obviously but I think he's tied up for the next four seasons.
Hooker then daylight.

Have to keep it in mind that if they did their peptide program now, it would be legal as that AOD thing was cleared. (Expecting to be corrected)

I would only take any of them if it was through Free Agency and Essendon receive no compensation.

The whole unsafe workplace thing would allow any of them to walk out on a contract if they wanted to I reckon.

They didn't get done on AOD 9604. They got done on Thymosin, which is still illegal
 
The only ones I would take is Heppel and Hurley.
Heppel will be their captain so he wont leave.
Hurley is gettable IMO.
He is what we need to replace Chaplin. He is a FA now so throw the cheque book at him.
 
The only one I'd really chase hard is Heppell. And as mentioned above, aint going anywhere so pass. If we can get Hurley relatively cheap then fine, but he's not as good as Bomber fans make out. Literally pass on all the rest

Answer, if Heppel/Hurley, is Yes to 1), and once we purge the scum and Hird parasite from them, the answer is No to 2).
