Does Connors play midfield at Coburg? Can't say I've seen anything in his games with Richmond that says "midfielder". Seems more of a marking flanker. That, and questions about his stamina, are probably why he has only played a few games to date. No doubt he has some talent though.

I think he was given a golden run by TW this year and showed bits and pieces. Not sold yet but definitely not anywhere near our delist group.

I think that is a little harsh that he's been given a "golden run". I can't remember any times where he has been a standout dud and given a chance the next week. He's worked hard, not having a go at you, but it can sound a little "glass half empty" beaver. Especially since you are known for always looking at the downside and never the upside, I can see why nut and co do have an issue on here.

Most of the players on our list are glass half full/empty types. I wouldn't class Edwards in that group. There were certainly times during the year when he could have been sent to Coburg for a bit and given Collins a go instead.

Na beaver, Edwards is a star. Clean ball-handler, evasive, quick, smart, good mark. Just needs to fix up his kicking and put some weight on. 32 games and 23 goals in two years from a jockey-sized teenager? Mark it, he's a champ.

Wouldn't go as far as marking him as a star...yet...but agree with you and nut on Edwards. For someone who still has the body of a kid, he's shown plenty. Look forward to him bulking up...looks like he has the goods.

And I know I am like every other Tige's supporter out there but geez I can't wait for Cotchin to get a preseason under his belt and run through the midfield with Lids and Foley. Such a shame that Richo is at the end of his career just as these kids are coming through.
