No but it’s news if the Kingdom controls the fund more than was previously led to be believed. For the PL to ever believe the Kingdom has no controlling interest defies belief.
The PL don't care and never did.

The Premier league never believed that.

FSG are leeches

Since this article was published they've stated publicly that they aren't selling up. If they are serious about competing I would expect the infrastructure debt be converted to equity or written off completely (they can easily afford it) freeing up significant amounts of club revenue for a big 2023 summer window that is desperately needed. It is untenable for them to stay on with a focus on repaying their infrastructure debts over squad investment.

This campaigner wants to spend as little as possible while maximising the capital return on his investment - using the Liverpool club name to increase equity for FSG's gain. The ultimate capitalist.

Which is utterly ironic considering the values that have been around Liverpool

With FSG worth 10bn + now this campaigner could also simply write off 300m in infrastructure debt with relative ease and prioritise transfer spending instead. Unfortunately FSG are focusing on paying down these debts to FSG with club revenue now which is BS.

I'll have to dig it up but I read somewhere under FFP we could spend up to 400m easily and still be all good FFP wise.

They will have somewhere to offload the £600m of shite they've bought recently.

We would take Mudryk on loan to give him some confidence.

Thing is our entire squad's wage bill is around 20m euros per season so we could only afford about 1.5% of his wages lol.

Add another 0. 😂

£368m wage bill in your last set of accounts, how much do you pay the cleaning lady?

Think he's talking about the French club he supports that Chelsea want to buy.

I read today that UEFA were looking to strengthen rather than loosen rules on multi club ownership.

I don't think it's that big an issue tbh. Multi club ownership has been around for ages and I don't think it's damaged the sport too much.

Probably because they don't normally compete in the same competitions.

I think the RB teams have in Europe, but I don't see too many problems as more teams move towards the multi ownership.

Very gross. Going to strain competition integrity.
When have Chelsea bothered about competition integrity…

But yeah **** UEFA.

ENIC had Sparta Prague, AEK Athens and Rangers when they first bought Spurs. Funnily enough Sparta and AEK went on record equalling trophy droughts under their ownership!
