You see i will give you a comparison that might illumianate you as to how far we have to travel.
There is a dude that plays in the SANFL, that would have the corws supporters asking where he is.
Now we have P.Bowden in the that position and they have McGregor in that position. McGregor would be an automatic selection for us, and P.Bowden would be a full time SANFL player. I would be even surprised if the crows fans actually notice his absence and we have dudes here saying, we need him back, we need him to do this, we need him for that. If that is the case we are a middle of the road VFL side, which we are, right now. I would be surprised if we werent fighting for 8th in the VFL.

The problem with that sweeper position is that it can make anyone look good. It is probably the easiest spot in the AFL nowdays. I think when the spot gets easier - the expectations go up. I don't know if Pat Bowden has done enough with all those easy touches. I can certainly see us trying other players in the job - which means Patty actually has to start winning his own footy on the wing. Winning his own footy has never been Patty's strong suit.
