Can Essendon still call themselves a big 4 club anymore? They haven't made a PF since 2001. They have only made the finals 5 times

Between making the GF and finishing 2nd in 1968 and 1983 they only made the finals 5 times and never the prelim finals. These were Essendon's doldrums years. They are well and truly back in them.

Paddy Ryder in my dreamteam!

I think the Ryder trade will have the most significant impact on any club out of all the trades this year, although Beams is a huge get for the lions, as if Girffen for GWS, Ryder offers port so much more in terms of structure and output across the board. Can see Ryder being a 35 goal forward to go with his rucking and work around the ground.
