PAFC make AFL history hosting a game of ping pong in China, so why are the Crer customers so upset?

Just diversions and deflections

Lol at you all hanging off every one of Kochies words. You are all so pathetic.

To be fair friend without our superior threads, they'd have nothing to post about apart from crochet and how to dry apricots.

How's Menzels goal kicking going this season?

So nothing then ........

No more news .........

Big announcement you said
Not just an announcement but a BIG announcement

And still ......

Nothing

How are they spinning this years fiasco to the Chinese ?

Drug cheat suspended - "star" recruit a dud - crowds don't like losing so half empty stadium on multi cultural night ......

And how's that driving range looking ?

How many gozillions in China watched that choke yesterday ?

Have they seen you actually win a game yet ?

Now
What's going on with this?
All that hoo ha and now

Nuthin'

Port suffering from The China Syndrome this season.

Lobbe dropped before injured, he cant ruck.
Oily Wines legs are that huge, he cant run.
Dixon has mitts like bricks, cant catch.
Butcher has two left feet, cant kick.
Cliché Ken has 1 game plan, cant coach.
Chinese Spud Farm from what I can see (--)

Same has been said about your coach now that his one game plan has been figured out.

Has it been figured out or did we just execute it poorly in ordinary conditions against a good side? Don has had two ordinary nights in the box, but if he learns as I expect he will because he's a smart guy, then other strategies come into play. Hopefully he's not like Ken and sticks with exactly the same plan, despite former players even saying that the team are not capable of executing it. Time will tell. The one move that paid off for Ken this year was putting Trengove into ruck, but that wasn't even a move, he had no other option.

Geelong set the template for the other teams at the top to follow.

Block the corridor so the Camries can't switch the play.

Geelong defenders were not sucked up the ground either. They stayed behind the play and as a result there were no Joe the Goose goals on Saturday night.

Let's see if Pyke has a plan B.

AFL is an iconic Australian sport with a history of over 100 years. Port Adelaide will grow the game in China, sharing it with Chinese audiences by:

  • holding annual Auskick training camps;
  • continuing to sponsor AFL teams in China;
  • broadcasting games into China via CCTV; and
  • hopefully holding a premiership-season game in Shanghai next year.

Is this it ....??? This is the BIG announcement ?

Hopefully having a game there .....

Oh, seriously, toss it in. This is just getting embarrassing all round now.
I don't think they've even seen paer win a game yet

What's that to do with your Chinese fiasco

So why hasn't anyone else worked it out? The plan wasn't the issue, it was that we slowed the ball movement down and the conditions didn't help our disposal efficiency. Hawthorn get around this defensive push by lateral movement and then being more effective when the ball hits the ground in their forward 50. No reason any side can't adapt, other than Port of course because Ken has proven that he won't. He's a poor man's Neil Craig.
