PAFC make AFL history hosting a game of ping pong in China, so why are the Crer customers so upset?

Sheedy wants Essendon to be the team to play the Puffers. My guess is so they can get their peptides direct from the manufacturer and leave out the middle men, Charters, Dank, Alvi and Hird

Kochie crunched the numbers and the puffers are going to fly out a whole lot of Chinese "fans" on 457s to replace the tarps and save the clubs lots of money

You are of course aware that Port have averaged higher home crowds than the Hawks every year since 2014, right?

Great initiative by the Puffers, even if there is a Crows team there already playing our game.
At last they are forging their own history which will reap big $$ for Poort.
AFL Enterprises just brought stocks in Gas Masks Manufacturing...COUGH COUGH splutter, splutter, they'll far ken need it; even a puffer playing in smog will need one.
Smog levelso_O.

If we're Pufferfish, then there seems to be a lot of Jellyfish in this thread.
Suck it flogs, cash train is loaded up toot toot!

It actually reminds me of the time in the 90s when the bankrupt Shitney Swans were about to fold. Carlton President, John Elliott put his hand up and made the extremely generous proposal that the Blues would be willing to play their 11 away games at the SCG. Okaaaay Jack, sounds like a plan... :drunk::thumbsu:

It actually reminds me of the time in the 90s when the Mayblooms in the face of falling on-field and off-field fortune saw the Mayblooms almost merge with Melbourne in 1996. The resulting club was to be known as the "Melbourne Hawks" – a fusion with the Melbourne....Okaaaay Jack, sounds like a plan... :drunk::thumbsu:

Have it on good authority the real reason Port have to be the away team. China agreed to this farcical visiting circus but have been absolutely steadfast on one condition. Port have been permitted to bring their plastic franchise but under no circumstances can they hold up their tarps and play that shithouse ****ing pre match song.

So many sweet, sweet tears.

Maybe we can get the Tuggers to play us in China and give up one of their home games.

After all none of their supporters go to their home games as evidenced by the crowd last week at Etihad

Yes, we do… We celebrate that watershed moment in the club's history. That's when the club became important for many Hawk fans - when we mobilised against a hostile takeover attempt, gave the finger to Melbourne & the AFL and voted NO - then wiped out a multi-million dollar debt and broke all the membership records (giving rise to a million pet jokes.). To this day, we have one of the highest membership levels.

We've never been one of the handout clubs, bowing and scraping to the AFL like your mob.

You ignorant Poort Paer fans have a lot to learn.

Looks like we've learnt plenty over that past 3 or 4 years given our international status and all.

Perhaps Hawthorn could learn from us about making money without selling home games to Tasmania.
