Yes, we do… We celebrate that watershed moment in the club's history. That's when the club became important for many Hawk fans - when we mobilised against a hostile takeover attempt, gave the finger to Melbourne & the AFL and voted NO - then wiped out a multi-million dollar debt and broke all the membership records (giving rise to a million pet jokes.). To this day, we have one of the highest membership levels.

We've never been one of the handout clubs, bowing and scraping to the AFL like your mob.

You ignorant Poort Paer fans have a lot to learn.

Looks like we've learnt plenty over that past 3 or 4 years given our international status and all.

Perhaps Hawthorn could learn from us about making money without selling home games to Tasmania.
