After watching Mark Frazer explain why they decided to charge him on TV last night, he must be considered totally inept.
The Stephen Milne slide looked worse and Mr Frazer mitigated that with, he was pushed.
Well, pigs was he pushed.
He should resign or failing that, be sacked .

AFL and certain media personalities are completly blowing SLIDING out of proportion.
Yes unfortunately 1 guy copped a broken leg, but accidents happen in sport.

It happens in soccer probably every game, sure they get penalised but i dont think they ever miss games due to it, whether they injure someone or not.

Maybe Fine AFL players when they do it.
Fined 3 times for sliding and your suspended for 1 or 2 weeks.

Accidents can and will happen in AFL cant go around suspending every action that could cause injury.
Smothering has more chance of breaking a leg or stuffing someones knee than sliding along ground.
So will we ban diving smothers where diver makes contact with kicker also?

I can see alot more dangerous things happening in games than sliding into a guys leg.
Its just this has been blown out of proportion and is all of a sudden somehow become a big issue.

In the 3rd Q K.Hunt attempted to take Roberton's legs out from under him with absolute intent and no chance of winning the ball.Thankfully Roberton is a cagey critter and got airborne.Had his leg been anchored the incident could easily resulted in a buckled knee or two,but the MRP don't even cite him.
It's not a grey area it's black and white arbitrary amateurish stupidity the way this was handled with Broughton.
