If Beams is only worth #4, then Dangerfield is not worth #4 and Reid.

Well imagine what it is like for all bar say 5 players at Hawthorn that Frawley is being paid more than them. Hopefully it does a disrupting job for them. However, I won't hold my breath, all under him, are already being paid by sponsors under the table with gift or cash in a brown paper bag.

Hawks have stability, more senior players that have 2 or 3 years left. Different team. We have high number of young players that we will develop and try to keep, what happens in two years time when the young players are up for contract renewal and we don't have the money because we have 3 or 4 players on high salaries.
Anyway, just my opinion, the club knows more than me, if he is available and they take him then they must have planned for it.

spot on just look at the stats Dangerfield and Beams are equivalent if not very very close the only difference is public perception of danger because he does a lot more media work and can look flashier due to his pace.

Danger is good but not that good in fact Beams and Danger are almost on par so adding Reid is like paying 100 bucks for something only worth 50.

It's all to do with the flash, Danger looks better doing the same things Beams does.

In saying that there is one part of Dangers game that separates him from Beams and that is the ability to break from the centre at pace.

It is something our team severely lacks and why Danger is a slightly better player.
