Get us a bona-fide CHF and close ranks.

I'm happy with our squad otherwise and would sooner get our boys fit and firing, than sniffing out other could be's.

What just to have a relatively injury free season for our best 22 and in particular our backs?

You mean Henderson

I did nothing!

/runs from ODN

Dangerfield might not be the superstar many think he will be, but he'd definitely be in our best side ahead of Mclean and Hadley.

Though I'd rather keep our players and first two picks to keep building on what we've already got.

Carlton hasn't had a second round pick in the last three drafts.

If we hadn't scored with Garlett, AJ, Armfield and White, trading those picks would have set us back.

Scoring a KPF plus a wingman/inside midfielder in the top 40 picks this year would round our our list nicely.

Hopefully Grigg heeds Gibbs' message and stays.

No way! Went to school with a bloke that was an absolute ******** and he looked exactly like Dangerfield.

PASS!

The kid would cost more than what we can afford to trade I reckon. He going to be a gun. Already built very solid for his age/frame and crashes into packs well and has decent speed to bust out once he gets the ball. Can easily fit in to our side playing the Mclean role if he had more stamina. Can play mid and also go foward and kick 5 goals. Crows will not let him go, unless they had a rediculous offer.

Agree with this Harks, Blues are one quality key position player away from challenging, this should be our focus, Dangerfield is a good player but we probably have more important needs.

Somehow don't think a bloke who averages 13 disposals a game and has poor skills when not even under pressure is the type to take over as an inside mid. He's a medium forward with great courage, basically a less mobile Mitch Robinson.

They're playing him as a forward, but he's a midfielder like Gibbs and Grigg who have played half back and half forward in the AFL.

And he's lightning fast.

Judd, Murhy, Gibbs, Dangerfield, Lucas, Buckley, Scotland (if he sticks around), Carrots, Simpson, Mclean.......That would be amazing!!!! 2013 would be better than 95!!! Our midfield rotations would be off the charts!!

Perhaps we could trade one of our ruckmen and a pick for danger...He will be Jarman like.

Seriously doubt this deal will be accepted by Adelaide unless you are talking about Kreuzer, in which case no way would accept.

I'm not saying Dangerfield is THAT good, but considering Adelaide will be losing Edwards, Goodwin, most likely Burton and Mcleod as well, they'll be desperate for young midfielders and maybe forwards. With the large amount of salary cap freed up they can afford to keep him easily IMO. Only reason he would leave is if he wanted to return to Vic.

Dangerfield is exactly the sort Adelaide can't afford to lose. Quick, talented, tough and the Crows supporters seem to love him. Might be a tad over-hyped, but that's just par for the course on Big Footy.

Don't expect him to be going anywhere. Just a nagging thought with Adelaide though...I wonder just how far they had to go to keep Tippett. If they have paid up big on potential it will severely impact negotiations with guys like Dangerfield.

Why wouldn't he want to return to victoria and play for the blues.

Adelaide is a sh!thole and his team is going nowhere. He could play tag free for his entire career at the blues and enjoy some serious success.

Port offered pick 9 for hamma, if he maintains his currency that, plus our first round (pick 18 - 22) could be enough to snare him. I can't see any other vic clubs offering better than that!

I don't think key forwards are a "desperate" need, Hendo will be good. Just look at JK, he was sh!t when he played for us......would have been nice if we'd kept pick 11 and nabbed a Ben Griffiths though.

I would love to have him in our side, but the points on his disposal are well made. He won't be worth whatever we have to trump the Dons with, and they will be desperate for him.

Besides, he may well like the new coach and decide to stay. ;)

It would be great if we could nab one of danger, boak or gray from SA.

Boak would be my prefered.
