Ot all depends on if he can increase his mobility. He ticks all the boxes bar that.

Agility and work rate, rather than mobility per se. He's very quick off the mark and has a great top speed.

Very hard for guys like Kerr these days. His best skills seem to be good leads and natural goalkicker.

Elite versions of Kerr, like Hawkins and J. Riewoldt are now reduced to being workhorses who run obscene km's these days for old stay at home forward types, compared to their goalkicking days.

Kerr's skillset is not in vogue anymore. Hard to see him making it. Was/is worth a shot at Pick 75 though i suppose. Good luck to him. No-one would want to be a Carlton contributor more i wouldn't think.

Turning circle is a big issue as it directly hampers his 2nd and 3rd efforts. He is more than willing though, huge heart.

Just saw that Kerr kicked 2 goals and had 23 touches vs Richmond vfl. Looks impressive on paper. Anyone see the game? Interested to hear what role he played.

He had the 2 goals. Kerridge has 23 disposals.

I liken him very much to J.Riewoldt , really like the way he plays and could easily be our best forward . like how you say his skill set is not in vogue anymore as this is what pisses me off about Carlton , we always change to do what others do , be it magpies and steal their coach or this is what Hawks do so we should do it , but then bulldogs win premiership maybe we should model ourselves on them and how they approach footy ..Carlton should set standards not follow the new fashion in football.

I think that Patty is your forward who you leave in the forward 50 arc and let every other forward roam higher.
That does not mean no other forward in the arc though, just that he is the one who stays there through out the game.

Great....that would groundbreaking wouldn't it.
A fwd who stays in the fwd 50, I like it.
