6 of the top 10 wafl goalscorers have played their last game of the year against us... For 1 goal:sunglasses:
Silvagni and Collins are such a big part of this, Nyhuis and Hughes quietly achieving on the smalls too.

Cause like this one time we happened to qualify a lot of players because we were shit at afl level and wanted to get games into the kids so we better stop this peel dynasty guys.
flipping hilarious how the Eagles do it the last 2 years and the WAFL didn't give a shit, we will probably lose this weekend anyway, Subi has a shit tonne of ex AFL players as well as some of the best WAFL players in the comp.
Peel were already going to drop significantly with the likely loss of Deboer, Mzungu, Pearce plus a few others and the youngsters to play the majority in the AFL, the problem would have fixed itself but Footy commisions always go for these kneejerk reactions

Yup i can really see him replace one of them. Especially if freo try to switch walters around to mid depend on opponent, having role player playing more than one position is pretty good. Ballas can't tag , deluca can, and deluca got the flexibility to play small forward too during his time with subi.

The good teams certainly have alot more players who are capable of running through the middle. Could see Deluca playing a role similar to Dunkely/Dahlhaus at the Dogs as someone who can drift seamlessly between the midfield and forward line.

Deluca could be that quick, tough small skilled defender we have been looking for. His disposal is quite good. I can't believe I'm pumping up his tyres after some of the shit I laid on him on here. :$
I am not disagree with you , but he is in great form in his current role , why you want to move him when he is in form now ,.
I kind of agree with Salim. I think he's doing well as a defensive inside mid @ Peel lately but I'm not convinced that's where we will play him at AFL level, unless he has a tagging role (and that depends a bit on both Barlow and Sheridan). Maybe I'm missing something but I've never seen him as a small forward - just doesn't seem dangerous enough around goals to play that role. It would be interesting to see how he'd do as a small defender. That hit with Saunders gave me a whole new level of respect for him - how does a guy that small hardly get moved at all off his line in that situation? - was awesome. A bit of toughness in the back half might be a good thing. He also has good speed and I thought his skills were reasonable.

I saw him play as small forward agaist south freo home and away , he doing pretty well .

I made him my buddy on the back of his 2014 season and wrote a somewhat lengthy piece on him in the "Buddy Expectations" thread that year. I'm not willing to bump it just yet, he still hasn't played a game and I rather ambitiously predicted a lot more than a solitary game, but I remember singling out his kicking skills and speed as assets we could make use of in the senior team. Not being a hindsight hero or anything but he did get re-drafted for a reason, he's finally fully fit now and showing what he can do so I'm confident he'll be retained. He has a lot to offer the senior team imo.

Of course, I thought the same thing about Tanner Smith so there ya go.

He also played as a small fwd (or some might say a "high" half forward or whatever) in the 2014 WAFL finals. We're going to have a hell of a lot of midfielders who can rotate forward next year.

I think freo should keep him, if not i not surprised the neighbors will go for him.
I written him off early in the season , but now i can see him playing multiple role for freo. Lets not let go another menegola with speed.

I really hope we try and grab Ryan, and don't wait too long for another club to pounce.

Liam Ryan - 39 goals in 15 games (2.6 goals per game!!!)

Bennell McCarthy Walters
Yarran Hogan Ryan
I think freo , eagles and essendon ( woosha like WA talent ). Will fight for him. SA state will go for willie rioli.
