JOM had been out for 2 months, he’s definitely going to play WAFL before any AFL games.
Like NOD - the first week or two they are in some managed mins. Sub is an option but in this case we have Fyfe and Darcy taking sub and managed mins.

Darcy has a specific role to chop out LJ in ruck contests. Ideally without injuries he would be subbed out around 3Qtr time.

I’d expect JOM to have a week at Peel and that is prob it or perhaps he could be the sub for the next game and Fyfe step up to starting 22.

As for Walters he needs a good run at Peel. Barely played other than managed mins in two PS games which was back in late Feb/early March (4 months ago). He also pulled up sore from training this week so really needs to be nursed through and conditioned over a block of a month at least.

With our next game on Thursday evening we will very likely make some changes. Darcy would indeed be one. I’d like to see Dudley come in. NOD could be another. Will be interested to see if they manage some players mins.

I wouldn’t expect too many to be managed next week due to 5 day break. You’d do that off back to back short breaks or 12 weeks of games without a break, can’t see it after just 1 game.

Though I'm not familiar with the names WC have added in the recent drafts it looks like they have about 14 playing for their WAFL side against Peel today.

Only one of their 3 emergencies for their AFL game tomorrow is named in their team on the WAFL website so they may have another to add.

I reckon Alex Pearce be a chance for Essendon game. There is another new player for dreaded 5 day break.

Can see Archer Reid out there in the warm-up, so he's another emergency. Long is named as well as Davis who was listed yesterday. Commentator just added all 3 WC AFL emergencies are playing so that would take them up to 16 AFL listed players.

Well done Reidy. I've noticed he's already had 3 ruck opponents. Reid, Livingstone and Barnett have gone up against him. Livingstone done the best so far as per IAS game.

That was a good spot up to Nicholls by Delean. Thought he might ping for goal. Very open Peel forward line. All good play from Narkle and Reidy in that build up.

Really enjoying the fast play on style of Peel, is this new?

The Freo players to stand out for mine where:
Davies and Murphy playing as key backs and doing lots of defensive things really well - don’t look at their stats will show very little but they are developing well
Nicholls did not realise he had an outside 50 boot on him, good marker and on fire at the moment
Reidy real good in the ruck, why can’t he translate that to AFL
Narkle, Brodie, Aish all amongst the best
Lots of players involved and good game to watch
