Perfect weekend for us!!

Pies walk into a preliminary final.
Freo have to travel over to Vic.
Geelong and Saints had a tight match
AND
Carlton lose by five points in a nail biter!!


Footy gods keep shining on us!!

I really like the fact that Sydney have gone through. Not so much because they beat Carlton, although that was good :D , but more because I think Sydney should beat the dogs and then give the Saints a challenge. We have to play Geelong in a ****ing prelim (again) the Saints can at least have a challenge.

And hopefully this awesome weekend can go into next weekend and we see Freo beat Geelong or at-least injure a few players. :)
 
Freo beat the Cats earlier this year and i am hope they do that. The Cats looked abit slow and the Dockers very quick so i think they can expose the Cats with their pace. I think the Cats will win but as long as they are pushed to the limit i think we will beat em in the Prelim. As long as we play like we did against the Dogs we will beat anyone that comes in our way.
 
Good win on the weekend boys. If we don't win it I hope you guys can. Don't worry about us just being a training drill for Geelong, a Mark Harvey coached team is going to give it everything we've got in this game. I'm not saying we will win, but I think we will push them.

I think you will push em for sure, you showed you could beat em when you played em earlier this year. I really rate Fremantle more then alot of people do becuase when they play their best they can beat anyone I just hope you beat the Cats and have a shocker against us.:)
 
The perfect weekend indeed. Footy doesn't get much better. Only improvement on the weekend would have been for ess to have made the finals as well and embarassed themselves like they did in week 1 last year

swannies win is a great result. they will beat the dogs next week. and they will be a challenge for stk altho it is hard to see them winning. but then again if the saints are a bit off.....the simple thought of playing our b*tches in the GF has me drooling

Was in the country for a fun run this morning (!) and would you believe the whole night the TV reception dropped in and out?

But relieved to see our scoreline building as it flicked back on. Then enjoyed hearing/watching the game today on the way back.

Actually, no - I think my favourite moment of the weekend (Dids' goal notwithstanding) was hearing Cam Mooney telling the umpire "You just cost us the game". flipping BLOUSE! How about yer GOAL KICKING! There's a serious attitude problem down in Sleepy Hollow...

Keep in mind that was @ subi, this is going to be the first time the dockers play at the G this year.

I don't care about this "pride" nonsense in beating Geelong/Saints on the way to the premiership, I just want one!
 
That was with Barlow and Tarrant at Subi though. Freo travel terribly, and Geelong are angry as hell.
 
Still think Freo might get up. Can't give an obviously logical reason, but we haven't seen a TRUE upset yet this finals, and there's always one.

Freo should have been favourites anyway on Saturday
St.Kilda wasn't a massive upset. Just a slight one
Sydney was favourite and so were we.

Sydney wouldn't even be a huge upset next week. That only leaves Freo.

I just personally feel they have the match ups, and Geelong might just be looking to the week after already.
