Just listening to Peter being interviewed on SEN, reliving his career - great stuff.

A quick mention of the boy in the last section [I know some of you know a lot of this]:
He's up to 198cm now [16 and still "growing like a weed"].
Runs 100, 200 and 400 metres at school [Carey?].
Running 11 flat over the 100.
"Very much a forward rather than a ruck"
As is Peter's way, speaks of him humbly, but I was licking my chops. The little I've seen of him marking on video, he looks to have great potential.

BTW, mods, sorry if you'd prefer this in another thread please go ahead and move it.

Thanks for the information.

However, you have started a thread that is not about our draft picks so automatic red card.

Great thread but at the wrong time.

In all seriousness, thanks for the info. Appreciate it in Sydney

Patience, grasshopper, he will be here when the planets have aligned...

Now there's a Dad who would theoretically be unlikely to go Damir/David on us.

Yep, TRS, a true gentleman, I reckon. Actually, he said during the interview that he left for Melbourne on less money than Collingwood was offering because the politics were too much for a young man [I'm paraphrasing], and I know from other sources that's he'd be rapt if Darcy ends up at Collingwood, which seems all but guaranteed now.

The thread topic grabbed me for a sec, I read it as Pete & Dudley (Moore)

You know that means a yootubbie.

Not for kiddies!

University education, you can't beat it can ya!

You know that the first step to recovery is admitting you have a problem, OA... ;)

OK, I admit that I hate Carlscum.

198 at 16? wow, seems like a certainty to reach over 100 and with that speed he could be a serious player

Having watched Moore play for Carey during the year I can confirm he plays for the school - and a heck of a fun school to watch this year with Viney, Hrovat, Macrae, Jaksch, Ashby and Haynes all on the same team with Moore.

Keep growing young fella. In 10 years time 200cm key forwards will be the norm.
- Evidence being Joe Daniher, Kurt Tippett, Jonathan Giles, Mitch Clark, Drew Petrie, Tom Lynch and the list goes on. And come to think of it the 200cm key forward is already pretty common.
If he ends up at 205cm as a key forward that would be a great outcome - knowing that he will continue his athletics so as to maintain that athleticism.

Moore is one to look out for 2 years from now so for the TAC watchers one we'll get to see plenty of these next two seasons and a fair chance of making the metro squad next year you'd think at the u18 champs.

When you watched him, could you see his speed?

is he eligible next year or year after?

Hate just doesn't seem a strong enough word somehow...
I try not to limit myself when it comes to the hating of Carltoon.:p

White collar criminals, crap that's 3 words, I'll get over it, whoop there it goes!

I'll just stop here, my manifesto is still in the works.

In the games I've seen of Moore for his school he has played CHB as a close checking type - limited rebounding game but did his job. Just wasn't room in the forwardline with Jaksch/Celebicanin/Dickson in the same team for it's hard to fit it all in the same forwardline. I didn't notice the pace but in fairness he never really had it in space and in the games I've been watching I've watched other players more closely. Closing speed seemed good though so good sign.

I've also seen snippets of him in u16s where he is that class above as a key forward. I wouldn't have picked him for an 11 second, 100m runner but I look forward to seeing whether he can really demonstrate that pace more in game next year.

Eligable 2014 (another 2 drafts away), so no, not next year.

Next year is Elijah Edwards who is the one to follow for those APS watchers.

Can we draft him now? Stuff the age restrictions and stuff his schooling, we need a giant full forward.

Kids these days are massive now it seems. I wish Darcy could lend me a bit of his height.

We have to wait another 2 years until draft eligable.
