What do Brownlow votes mean anyway? A player consistantly amongst their team's top 5 performers week in, week out, will get less votes than some flash in the pan who plays one good game then dissapears. Bell had a better season than Cousins last year, you know that and I know that.

As for the thread, it's pathetic that you had to stoop down to a low level.

Agreed. For ****'s sake, An absolute twit posted an unfunny rhyme about Cousins.
But can't we just all be big men and not respond in kind for once? The compulsion to troll and get a reaction runs deep, lord knows, I've felt it often enough myself, but just for once can we not waste everybody's time and energy with a pointless, idiotic thread? IMO, The first group of supporters who are big enough to look at post which transparently and deliberately slags off Freo/WC and then NOT descend to the pointless bitchfighting which always follows can claim a fairly big chunk of the moral high ground, i'd say.

I am extremely happy with Cousins as a captain and a player. He's come on in leaps and bounds since he took over at such a young age. I think he's a wonderful leader, and is set to follow in the footsteps of Woosha.

I also have a huge amount of respect for Peter Bell. He's an elite player, probably one of the best captains in the league, and, on the few occasions I've met him, he also manages to be an extremely nice bloke.

Can we just leave it at that? Please?!
