i'm sure many of the people on here are too young to remember peter combe

he was the king of the kids in respect to music before the kids hit the scene... anyhow it turns out he's been back for quite a while now... he sold out a show at the corner earlier in the year, and he's playing another show at the espy at the end of august...

i'm pretty sure i'm going, i can't imagine how much fun it would be to get drunk and sing peter combe songs...

man i listened to him when i was like 4 lol, classic stuff.

Mr clickety cane likes to play a game all the kids (cant remember rest of the words lol).
 
ive got the Peter Combe Christmas special on VCR

agree 100% he and Don Spencer rocked

does anyone remember the cassettes one of them used to do...the titles were just numbers (eg: 6) and they had all sorts of kool kiddy songs, my fav was the super computer....its your brain!

I'm a primary school teacher and love Peter Combes, as do the kids.

I have a strange feeling my mates may have had a slight bit to do with this comeback. My friend lives a few houses away from the master and had promised us since the age of 5 that he would play for us one day. Come his 18th birthday BAM, Coombie rocking to a bunch of drunks all the classics. That was almost 4 years ago, great night. Then he also performed at our year 12 leaving assembly, had an entire high school singing along with him.
Might just have realised that there was a demand for nostalgia. I strongly recommend everyone go check him out, will bring back many memories.

will the ticket is purchased... should be a fun night, now i just need to find my peter combe live CD to catch up on some of the other songs... or maybe it will be better if i get some surprises that i'd forgotten about...
