Pick 8 is still a big chance to be used for Moore.

Before anyone asks, F&S nominating happens before the trade period, meaning we cant cheat the system by trading pick 8 for a gun or whatever.

Yeah, I could see Melbourne swapping pick 2 for Kennedy and pick 8 - that's about what it would require . Don't think that's a good deal for us though. We're better keeping Kennedy or the equivalent player and pick 8 (or using 8 on Moore if that's what it takes).

Petrecca is getting slightly over hyped in my opinion. He deserves his status as clearly in the top 2, but there's no guarantee he's going to be THAT much better than Brayshaw or Duggan or whoever is still around 6-10.

Pick 8 for Moore is a Very Good Chance of Happening.

I would give up Kennedy in a heart beat for Petracca, guy is a beast and don't think we will be in this position again any time soon, wouldn't mind missing out on Moore either to get it done.
 
I still think Moore could go at 27, especially now Casboult has re-signed with the scum. There's talk on the Harry thread of a trade of pick 8 and Harry for pick 2. Might be a pipe dream but Melbourne have been generous before. Thanks for Broomhead dee's!

We will probably go for a guy like Laverde. To me he looks a bit like Goldsack but with way better skills, pace and a quicker decision making. Pretty much the only similarities are they are tall and versatile. But it would be good if we could get a bloke like him. Also I think we need more Vics in our side, they make up less than 50% of our list and that is below average.

Laverde is other guy I'd like with pick 8. I haven't really thought about vics in our side. But if Melbourne get a first rounder for Frawely, could we be pushed down the draft.

If they get pick 3 for Frawley questions need to be asked because the system is totally ****ed if that happens
 
Some interesting kicking stats on 3 top ten midfield draft prospects 2014. The stats are from TAC Cup 2014 webpage. Come to what every conclusion you want, I was just interested and wanted to pass the data on. Can anyone tell me how they determine what a KE (kicking Effective) and KIE(Kick In Effective) stat?

If beams is seriously going, then we need to find a way to get petracca. We will likely get pick 4 off Brisbane in that scenario, which still won't be enough.

But we could flick pick 4 + Harry to melb for pick 2. They still get a top 5 pick that way and we get our man. We would want a 2nd rounder to even it out.

That would be a good result (if Beams is going).
The only snag....what if Saints want Petracca?

Beams would be our only hope of getting Petracca and I am highly doubtful Beamer will be going anywhere.

Beams will remain a pie imo.
