It didnt excite me and depending on how JJ year pans out will determine how hard if we are interested in the "Dish".

That has to rule him out. You don't recruit a guy for one to two years and piss off a younger developing player by recruiting someone to replace him.

But the whole point of the free agency was to make this sort of thing a possibility.
it was never meant for younger players who had not served the proper time with their club.
31 is a bit old but he is a very capable forward who could fill a gap very nicely for a couple of seasons.
But why would he leave the Roos if he saw them as any sort of chance to make finals in the next 2 seasons??

Waters is nearing on 30, and we have plenty of his type here. Would love LeCras though, but injuries will always be the worry.

Waters will be 28 next year so you've till got 3-4 years of good footy in him if he stays injury free which is the query on him. We might have his type but none as good.
