I know its nothing to do with state v state, that is not the reason.
His whinging and sooky behaviour in the past has put me and alot of people right off him, main things being his unwillingness to play Davis Cup and his past differences of opinion with Rafter, Woodforde and Woodbridge, 3 great guys who love their country.
Also his whinge when Rafter trounced him at the US Open. Good on ya Krajicek !

I would much rather watch someone who shows some emotion like Lleyton Hewitt does as apposed to the many "tennis robots" who play on the tennis circut these days!! It was exactly the same with John McEnroe in the 1980's yet he was one of the biggest drawcards and one of the most popular players on the tour.

A great sportsman is someone who knows they have great ability but at the same time repects others, displays humility and grace, attributes that Pat Rafter displayed on and off the court and which Hewitt has largely failed to show.

When he loses his attitude and boorish behaviour I'll start following him, until then I rather him lose than win maybe he'll learn some humility and respect for others.
