What are you scared of?

I am scared of the Dentist's drill, snakes

Went to the dentist yesterday and it was quite cool

Heights, confined spaces, yeah most bugs to a point, my socks falling down, strangers, children. List goes on.

Spiders I can't stand if I see one I'll run out of the room screaming, I also can't stand snakes too.

Snakes, spiders, heights... those are my three main ones.

And yes, the dentist, indeed... would rather have a full-body aenesthetic rather than face those needles.

And oh, yes, needles, in general. Should see me when Jen's getting a blood test, rather than me, I can't bear to watch... I just cover my eyes.

Other than that, I'm pretty fearless.

Yep, my biggest fear would be the dentist's needle....would rather be fully knocked out than have one of those.

Don't really like having other needles either, but I'm not as bad with them as I used to be......have no problems jabbing them into other people at all though!

As scary as a bloody big, ugly huntsman falling from the ceiling and landing on my leg? Or the one that decided to run across my dashboard as I was driving in bumper to bumper traffic?
I know they are harmless, but the damn things are so huge they almost scare you to death!

Forests (not quite sure!), garden gnomes, and needles. Not so much scared of needles than feeling extremely nauseous & queasy when I think/read/see/etc about them. Oh, and the end of the world. Hmm.

Not scared of the classic things though - heights, snakes and spiders. Sure, I'd run if I saw a snake, but I'm used to them! Or the dentist, been there enough times to get over that.

I suffer from severe arachnophobia, it isn't just the normal 'oh oh I'm scared of spiders' kind of thing, depending on the size of it, I mostly just freeze and can't talk or move or anything. I'm pretty much OK with daddy long legs' now, unless they're above my head.

My ex was worse, he is terrified of even little teeny tiny spiders.

I'm with you, Bee. Huntsmen are scary to look at... if it's not for the physical attributes you mention above, they're hairy as hell, too! That's the one quality about them, in addition to their size, that scares me the most!

Give me a broom with a really, really, really long handle, and I MIGHT be able to get close enough to kill one...

And despite what Mobbs says, yes, they are a form of spider... anything with that many legs and as guesome-looking as that, yeah, that has to be a spider...
