I honestly believe that M Crouch would be the best pick moving forward long term. I see that he is a great replacement for Thommo, also, magnificent marketing potential/comradare(however u spell it!)/family feel round the club.

Sure he's not at this stage the best disposal, but you have to win it, before you can use it.

I think that Port will take who's left out of Dumont and Dunstan. May take Crouch if neither left.

Brisbane, if they take Aish, will go for Apeness I believe.

I don't think Cutler will be available, I reckon there's a chance that someone like a Hewitt will be around at 46, which leaves us with Crouch (or if amazingly Dumont/ Dunstan slip through). I don't think we could resist it.

Pick 46 - Honeychurch or Hourigan, I would be happy. Never know who will slip through though, there's always one or two. If Mitch Thorp or Gartlett are around at 46, regardless of negative hype we have to pull the trigger. Too many gutless, risk-averse list managers around.

If both are available, I'd take Crouch personally. I;d be fine with Cutler though.

And if both are gone, any that are available out of Dunstan, Dumont, Merrett and Hewett (in that order).

Drafting Apeness would be a disaster in my opinion. With the departure of Vince and Riley, and the likely departure of Thommo at the end of 2014 (or 2015), we need to grab a midfielder while we can. Worry about a tall with pick 46, or trade for one after this season, or grab one next year. There's some midfield bargains to be had here.

Not to mention the fact that Apeness has already done an ACL previously. Not keen on potentially shonky knees in a big man.
