Elliot wore the number 35 and he wasnt a draft pick, Aish or Treloar might get asked to rep the 35.
The whole purpose is it goes to a 1st year kid though

Academy selections will push us back around 5 spots.Just read a couple of the phantoms and 2 out of 3 have us with pick 32. One actually has Freo taking Ben McKay at 27. We do have pick 27 right? I didn't just dream that part of trade week I hope.
Spot on. Aish is fairly one paced and we've lost Freeman and Kennedy who we would've hoped come on. Pace is a need in that side now.The pick must have pace. It is the only real need our list has.
If no wingman type is available then the best small forward is what we should get

Yeah, Varcoe as well - we really needed a boost in this area to get more links in the chain out of the backline.Guys who can maintain a consistent pace for the whole game whilst maintaining high skill levels will be most important from next year. In Aish, Steele, Pendles, De Goey and Treloar we have that covered.
Has anybody seen this kid play [SA-based people maybe]. Here's KM's write up:
29. Davin Ferreira (NT – FWD)
Height: 174cm, Weight: 68kg, DOB: 15/09/1996
Recruited from: Norwood
Reminds me of: Higher volume goalkicking version of Charlie Cameron
Brief bio: Ferreira is a lively small forward who has performed well at SANFL League level and Reserves level. Ferreira offers strong scoreboard impact as someone who can create something out of nothing and demonstrates good goal sense and ability to finish both from general play as well as via set shots. At ground level Ferreira is dangerous as someone whenever the ball hits the ground will pick it up cleanly first attempt and make something happen. While he has the ground level ability he also has the ability in the air as someone who will launch at the ball in flight to take the grab making him a threat, and he has strong hands overhead, consistently taking his marks cleanly. Athletically Ferreira is very good with excellent pace as well as good agility. He has excellent tackling ability, providing excellent tackling energy and effort when the ball is in his area, and while small and lightly built his tackles are strong and he shows the ability to take guys down with his tackles. Ferreira is a small, light body. But as a forward with his talent and performances on the board he is someone with the ability to fit into a front half.
We actually have very few left now, Dave, and he's apparently good overhead, damaging around goal and sticks his tackles whereas Blair, with all due respect to him, isn't damaging enough.Don't want another Midget
Only Elliott & Blair are sub 180cm.We actually have very few left now, Dave, and he's apparently good overhead, damaging around goal and sticks his tackles whereas Blair, with all due respect to him, isn't damaging enough.

2 sub 180 players.I swear treloar looks taller then 182cm!
Some more 190 players wouldn't be a bad thing. We have enough short people still on our list
Wouldn't mind grabbing Aidyn Johnson with Pick 27. Played against him in Country footy and hes a jet. Any news on Himmelberg being nominated by GWS?
I read GWS has nominated Himmelberg
Adams, sidebottom, Williams, Varcoe, greenwood, and fas or are all 180 or 181.2 sub 180 players.
Bidding doesn't happen until 24 November for academy players.Wouldn't mind grabbing Aidyn Johnson with Pick 27. Played against him in Country footy and hes a jet. Any news on Himmelberg being nominated by GWS?
Oh so they nominate them then? Oh I thought it was like F/S when nominating.Bidding doesn't happen until 24 November for academy players.
Its far too difficult to make a definitive selection decision about a kid without any of those 90 second highlight video's being posted
