Who would YOU like to see the MFC take with Pick 4. Presuming the Top 2 are Kreuzer and Cotchin.

I reckon Henderson.

Let's just get the best forward and mould him and Newton into a dominant force for years to come. Oh, and Davey, Robertson, Bate and Sylvia are handy too!

Can't split Masten and Palmer.

Went Palmer because his body looks ready-made, ala Jones a couple of years ago. Take the best player IMO.

Get a tall at 14.

I think the only ones you guys will have to worry about are St.Kilda at 9 and Hawthorn at 12.

#4 David Myers - 191cm flanker, my pick 3 because of Cotchins Endurance queries, see him much more AFL capable than Morton because of a much more mature build.

#14 Scott Simpson - Best Key forward available at this pick, big frame and awesome work rate on and off the field

#21 Alex Rance - stock standard key defender and will partner well in the future with Frawley. Every team wants a key defender but nobody wants to use a first round pick on one.

I feel the top 5 is pretty much a lock now, 1. Kruezer 2. Morton 3. Cotchin 4. Myers 5. Henderson

I originally had you taking Henderson at 4 but decided the gap between the midfielder available at 4-14 is too large and the forward at 4-14 is too small

Last time we tried to take the "best forward" was the year we took Luke Molan. We all know what happened there. Stuff doing that, it's the best available for me at Pick 4.

Yep definitly. Im with you on that one. I hope if Morton, Kruezer and Cotchin go in the top 3 that we get Masten. Seems like he is the next best available

Just remember, if in 2003 CAC went for a tall KPP instead of the best available, we would of had Kepler Bradley and not Brocky. Thank god for CAC

Can't swap Rance and Simpson, you can take Rance at 14 but Simpson wont be available at 21 (Tarrant probably will)

I think the Bulldogs will go with Simpson over Tarrant but not Rance over Tarrant

I don't think anybody else would be interested in Rance to about 23-26

It was pretty much between Pears & Tarrant or Rance & Simpson, the second made the rest of the PD easier

Morton is going at 2 in my PD, I would like somebody to explain to me what two very top aged short rovers in Masten or Palmer offer that Myers does not, especially when he is 10 cm taller and a far superior kick to both of them.

If they can then I will consider moving them up my rankings

Morton is ahead of Myers marginally, they both have very consistent 45m kicks but its Morton's 60m dual sides missiles that he unleashes a couple of times a game that makes you shed a tear at the thought of having that in your team that gives him the edge.

Apart from that I would probably go with Myers because everything else is at least similar to Morton + being better in traffic.

I really hope that he's available at 14. I'd definitely take him at 14 instead of Simpson. In know draft I've seen so far has Rance lasted into the 20s but Simpson has in a fair few.

I'm warming to Myers after watching the U/18 champs again (recorded them on foxtel iq). He's got my vote. I know it's unfair to make comparisons, but he's the Chad Cornes everywhere man...with Chad being slightly more able to hold down a KP. In a few years it could be a different story however when he's added a bit more muscle. With Morton and Cotchin gone, Myers at 4 for mine

There's a good chance Rance could be a slider. A lot of people think he's had an easy run this year without that many dominant forwards to go up against.

Pick 4: Morton > Palmer > Erbert

A BIG NO NO on Masten and Henderson based on their injuries.

Then,

Pick 14: Scott Simpson 194cm KPP Forward

He's the man to replace Neitz. Future FF & will be a gun.

Pick 21: Steven Gaertner 196cm KPP Defender

He's the man to solve the defence problem and the one who should replace the disappointing Nathan Carroll who can't play well and let's the whole team and the defence structure down.

Pick 4 - Trent Cotchin Richmond will take Morton, West Coast will take Masten or Palmer, i just have that feeling

Pick 14 - Would love Rioli with this pick, but if we are getting Sampi, Rance or Collier would be nice here

Pick 21 - Steve Gaertner - from all reports, he is buddy/brennan mark 2007! quick, tall agile, a freak - just needs some kicking work done!
