Everything that I have read about this kid suggests that he is going to be working the back end of the square in the future running past the likes of Judd and Murph as they clear the ball out of the centre...

Accurate kick who will punch it deep into our revamped forward line with Yarren waiting there for the crumbs

Looks a good enough size to be able to play seniors in 2009.
Robinson turns 20 next year, so he's ready to go.

Robinson is another 6'2" mid/flanker like Grigg, Gibbs, Benjamin, Anderson and Russell.

A Wayne Hughes special. :p

Bentick can start packing his bags to be ready for the next delisting. :o :(

Bentick is probably the next assistant coach down at the Bullants.

My initial thought when first looking at the video was how much he reminded me of Adam Cooney. Looks a good enough size to be able to play seniors in 2009.

Totally agree, didn't post because I thought it was just the hair getting in way. But he moves a bit like Cooney.

Very happy with Robinson. Ready to go, good skills, looks like he can provide run and carry and can also play inside and outside. Fantastic!

Again, surprised he was still available but there are a couple of reason why i think he did slide a little. One was his age and the other was his DC results, in particularly his 20m sprint which i was kind of surprised at.

Bargain........big engine and enormous work rate, just wants the footy in his hands, Ratts will love him. :thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu:

Date of birth: 7/6/89
Height: 185cm
Weight: 79kg
Club: Tassie Mariners

Bio: A medium midfielder who kicks with depth, has good evasive ability, runs hard forward and tackles strongly, Mitch Robinson had an outstanding NAB AFL Under-18 Championships, winning the Hunter Harrison Medal (for Division Two best and fairest) and continuing that form into Division One, leading to All-Australian U18 selection.
Jason McCartney says: Along with Stephen Hill and Ryan Schoenmakers, Mitch really jumped out for me at this year's championships. He won the medal for best player in Division Two and then stepped up into Division One and kept playing the same sort of football. He carried the ball extremely well, took the game on and any time he got the ball he'd do something good with it. He's got great penetration on his kicks and he would have averaged in the high 20s for possessions in every game.
Tasmania U18 coach Andrew Mellor says: Mitch was the standout for Tasmania at the championships. He took his game to another level when we went up to division one. He played in the middle, around the edges, on a wing, down back, up forward and just got a lot of the footy. He's very tough and aggressive and his defensive work is outstanding. When the ratings came out for all the players across the board at the championships, Mitch was rated up the top of a lot of those categories.

This was the write up in Inside Footy

"Mitch is a terrific midfielder with a great footy brain and is a great ball carrier. He won the medal for Tasmania's best player at the national canival, the coaches award and the best and fairest for division two. Played most of the season in the VFL for the Devils and finished high up in their best and fairest count. Very hard at it, a very penetrating kick, got good pace, can play tall"

You are a sour supporter Judge - going on your post, JR may have to worry;)

Five, who is sour?

I don't want to see Bentick cut, but Robinson has superior football pace and skills based on his draft position and that highlight package.

Robinson was AA this year.

I think Yarran and Tiller will worry JR.

But Russell has a two year contract.
