That's fair, although he's much better aerially, and more dynamic than Viney and Wines.Seen a lot of comparisons between Lalor and Dusty/Trac. Don't really get that vibe. Doesn't have the explosive burst of speed out of the contest from what I've seen. Looks more like a Viney/Wines type with a better kick who can also find the goals.
Sylvia is a great comparisonReminded me more of Colin Sylvia. (likely with a better work ethic)
Thanks LegsSylvia is a great comparison

Every player should be nicknamed 'The Wizard'Flying Viking what a piss nickname. It's like something chatgpt would come up with.
No current season stats available
I reckon you've almost nailed it, but i think at 10 we'd be more likely to pick Travagila.Nearly impossible to do a phantom draft this year as the players are so even and one clubs selection will change the whole first round.
1 Jagga Smith Richmond
2 Levi Ashcroft Brisbane
3 Sam Labor North Melbourne
4 Finn O'Sullivan Carlton
5 Sid Draper Adelaide
6 Harvey Langford Melbourne
7 Murphy Reid Richmond
8 Josh Smillie St Kilda
9 Harry Armstrong St kilda
10 Taj Hutton Melbourne
I could see this playing out , depending if Richmond trade up to pick 2. Also I wouldn’t be against trying to split pick 5 if a big offer comes in on draft night.
From a reliable source? His highlights aren't the most exciting, but he just seems to keep finding himself in the right position and using it well. He wouldn't be my first pick, but does look good.I'm hearing Langford
I love him, the only thing I hate is that he has no left foot whatsoever. Thats nitpicking though plenty of guys like that in the league these days and his skill set is what we need.Spent a bit more time watching footage, and I have to say Draper is my number 1.
The flying doormat and the flying dutchman were already taken.Flying Viking what a piss nickname. It's like something chatgpt would come up with.
I like it.Think I'm still basically sticking with my tier list (for Melbourne) from earlier, for now at least.
Tier 1
Smith
Draper
Tier 2
Langford
Lalor
FOS
Tier 3
Tauru
Reid
Tier 4
Smillie
Armstrong
Others that I wouldn't want to spend a pick quite this high on (i.e. Lindsay, Travaglia, Allan, Hotton, Berry)
Nice.Below is what I like in order of my preference, not where I think they will go (ignoring f/s, academy because who cares about them).
FOS/Draper are zero chance so i hope Smith slides but I think we end up with Langford. I'm actually ok with it because he kicks goals, has a raking left foot but also hits up shorter options.
If Lalor is what's left I would prefer we slide back a few spots if we think we can get 2 of the next lot and 1 of teens guys as well (or a juicy pick next year).
Top 5
Smith
FOS
Draper
Langford
Lalor
6-10
Hotton
Tauru
Smillie
Lindsay
Reid
Teens
Travaglia
Berry
Allan
Shanahan
Trainor
Armstrong
Hynes
Jack Whitlock
Faull
Some guy we haven't heard of yet
So many Reid haters, more than Smillie. People overrating how fast someone can run.
