"Pick Me" Competition

- Be named in the team on Thursday night.
- Receive your jumper from Dean Bailey and James McDonald at the final training session before the match.
- Your very own pre-match press conference the day before the game, which will appear on the Club website.
- Have your name included on the Cheer Squad’s run through banner.
- Run out onto the MCG in front of thousands of screaming fans.
- Watch the game from the best seats in the house.
- If Melbourne wins, you will be able to visit the change rooms after the game and hear the boys sing the song.

Be rather humourous if D. Magik or B. Finnator gets named in the side come round five.

The "press conference" would be interesting. I'd probably go in ready to act like Stone Cold Steve Austin and instead end up sitting there gibbering in front of the cameras.

In that case if I win I might use an assumed name...

Having said that it's odds on to be won by somebody with a tragic story, which is fair enough.

Be much more interesting if they picked a fairly fit guy between 18-30, just so theres some genuine concern/interest when they run out from those not in the know.

Do they name you on the extended bench on Thursday, and you get cut on the 2nd team listing on Friday. Or are you a late change on the Saturday, either way its gonna be pretty disappointing especially with your name on the banner.

At least it won't be like that milestone game a year or two ago where the player was a late exclusion so everyone else got to run throug his special banner.

You will be a shoe in to win it, providing you wear your "coke bottle glasses" & promise to not give a one hour pre game speech.... The only people to vote against you will be the trainers @ the club, as you are likely to run into one of the poles holding the banner up & knock yourself out !!!!!
