Is there any other teams?
Sad day for the club with SSB calling it a day but surprised there has not been a thread posted about the Brownlow.

So I thought I'd start one up and give my 2 cents worth:

With our even spread of players I don't think that we will have anyone go close to taking it out but here is how I think our top three will fare:

1 - Dane Swan top Pie vote getter with about 12-15 votes - has shown in previous years that he polls quite well and feel he had about 3 games this year where he was a clear 3 vote standout. Will probably also get a sprinking of 1-2 vote games as well.

2 - Medhurst 10 votes - standout year for Medders with at least two games where he swas the difference in the teams and hould get the 3 votes (Anzac & Crows @ G) and also a few were he would be in calculation for 1-2 votes.

3 - Neon Leon 6-8 votes - Not sure how he has polled in the past but think he will poll a few votes in his purple patch late this year. Maybe two 3 vote games.

Due to eveness across the board I think we will have a heap of players with about 5 votes or less; Thomas, Pendles, Cloke and Didak etc.

As for my pick to win it; Brent Harvey (25 votes) from a raft of Cats anyone of Ablett, Bartel and Joel Corey.

Smoky: Nick Reiwoldt

Thoughts??

Yeah, that wil serve me right for taking so long to type it out.

I swear it wasn't there when I started:)

Although that one was started by a Tigers fan so that doesn't count!!!

Swan - 17
Medhurst - 9
Davis - 9
Didak - 8
H Shaw - 7
Pendlebury - 6
Burns - 5
Thomas - 3
Fraser - 3
Rocca - 2
Clarke - 2

Bartel will win with 26 votes

Here is the way ive done it...

Swan 18-22 votes- Starts of the season a little quite, where he should poll 2 votes in rd 1, yet not many after that. Round 9 is where it starts, the games against Geelong and WC he should have a min of 5 votes out of those games, and imo should enter the 2nd half of the year on 7 votes (9 if everything goes right)
He continues his good form, games against Carlton (1??), Sydney(2-3) and Adelaide(1) should see him on around 11-12 by round 15.
Then from round 19-21 is where things get interesting, IMO he should at least get 6 although quite easily 8 or 9.
This will lift him up to 18 min., Although he could quite easily get up to 22
You never know, if everything falls into place could get a top 3 finish.

Davis- 12-14 votes- Will poll a few votes in the first half of the year and should be on 4-5 by the turn of the season.
It is the second half of the year where he comes home on fire where he should poll votes in the last 4 games of the year.

Medhurst-12- He starts the year on fire, where he should poll at least 9 votes in the first 6 rounds. From there he is a little quite, and IMO will poll most of his votes from BOG's

Was a bit out with the overall result but my Pie tips weren't far off the mark.
