Yes the young Blues leg speed is showing you guys up a little isn't it. I wouldn't worry, the Umpires are doing their very best to get you guys over the line. Their triple goal free-kick in the 2nd quarter was just gold. Have also played a part in 3 other Pie goals. It's quite hilarious.

I have played footy for 6 years, Pace is a rubbish statement thats mentioned by people in the media that dont know how to kick a footy!!!! You dont need to be a lightning quick, you need to be a decent runner and know HOW to read the play, if you can read the play you will get to the footy first!!!


We need another ruckman...not Aker! GET GARDNIER!!!!!

I have played footy for 10 years(not that it makes me more qualified to have an opinion) and as slow player I reckon pace would have been a real advantage.

You need both. You need quick players to carry the ball and break the lines. We definately have a few quick young blokes comimg through(thomas,pendlebury, egan)so I dont reckon it is as big a problem as a few years ago

i agree with you, on your comments. You need pace, but i dont think you need to be a lighting bolt.
