Brownlow Medallist
I wasn't sure of what the outcome of the format of the playere analysis was, so I'm doing it this way.
Brett Stanton had a servicable game. He didn't break the lines like he should be and he racked up easy possesions (21 0f his 25 were uncontested) across half back, which isn't where he should be getting most of his touches. Having said that, most of his possesions were quality.
I'm sure this will improve with match fitness, but he didn't seem to be running to make himself an option after disposing of the ball. He just stopped dead after disposing of it as if his job was done. Winderlich's game was more like what I expect of Stanton in the weeks to come. Also, no tackles was a telltale sign that his fitness may not be where it should be. Needs to get to more contests.
I didn't include him in the votes, but Fletch and Lucas had amazing games so Stants was unlucky in this regard, he might have picked up one vote in other games.
