Im stuck on who to pick out of;

O'Keefe, Burton and Sylvia

I'm looking for the best one that will earn me a little bit of money and/or become a premium forward.

Atm I'm leaning towards O'Keefe because I think he will be a consistent scorer this year but I think Sylvia will rise more in price.

Whats all you guys thoughts?

Not Burton, he won't play till August.

I'm kind of split on the other two. O'Keefe is the safer option and Sylvia gives you the highest potential rewards considering his 93 average over the last 7 rounds last year. If you're a gambling man, go Sylvia, if not go O'Keefe. I personally think Sylvia won't score well in the Melbourne forward line though, but if he gets a midfield move I think he'll have a breakout year.

Also, don't worry about who'll go up in price more. If you're paying 350k+ for a player, you should definitely be picking them to keep so unless they get injured the price becomes irrelevant.

s.tuck vs gibbs?

Definitely Gibbs IMO, all signs indicate his ready score big DT numbersthis year

T.TUCK v REILLY or neither

For me reilly's interesting as he has the scope for some good DT numbers but has struggled to get on the field due to a number of unlucky impact collisions.
Tuck looks the goods but its debatable whether he will keep his spot in the hawks midfield. Thoughts?

Tuck.
Will hold spot early due to injuries and should get solid TOG.
Even if hes dropped I dont see it before round 7 or 8 pending form.
So he will have peaked and you can offload his ass to a premium.

I'd go Tuck. Reilly's been in the system for a long time now but hasn't scored above 77 in any year, and he also seems to be very injury prone. Tuck will probably hold his spot for a while at least and looks capable of an 80+ average considering the quality of players around him.

After reading the article about Gazza today (http://www.news.com.au/heraldsun/sport/afl/story/0,26576,25168644-19742,00.html) I am thinking of changing my team around what do you think is the best option out of these 3?

OPTION 1:
J. Bartel, G. Ablett, J. Selwood, D. Mackay, H. Skipworth, L. Anthony (D. Beams, M. Robinson) +35k

OPTION 2:
J. Bartel, G. Ablett, B. Gibbs, P. Haselby, H. Skipworth, L. Anthony (D. Beams, M. Robinson) +22k

OPTION 3:
J. Bartel, K. Cornes, J. Selwood, P. Haselby, H. Skipworth, D. Rich (D. Beams, M. Robinson) +23k

I currently have option 3 but am leaning on option 1 what are your guys thoughts? Would very much appreciate some feedback

Sorry I am going away soon and wont be back on DT close towards the lockout. Which option do you think is the better one?? Am leaning towards option A but not sure what are your thoughts.

Also H2G I think Gibbs is the better option as he will score you points more regularly. And Decipher I think that Gabblet and Hille are the safer option as these two will score you more points regularly. But if you want the Big Cox it is up to you as that is also a good option but probably Gazza and Hille.

Can afford any midfielder from T Tuck downwards for my 4th mid spot... Am mainly looking at Tuck and Grigg, but have no idea who to choose. What are peoples thoughts on the two?

IMO, Tuck looks more likely to score better, but his spot in the side isn't as safe as Grigg.

As mentioned elsewhere, Tuck's place in the team should be safe for several rounds, if not for the season. With the number of injuries at the Hawks plus his solid pre-season, he should be a safe. In saying that, Grigg could also average similarly.

I don't think you can really go wrong here. Both are in the same price range and should increase their value significantly.

FWIW, I'm going with Tuck.

Tuck would have played a lot more footy last year if he didn't pick up that injury against Adelaide. It was very unfortunate timing.

Bowden v Goddard v S. Fisher

Bowden loves the cheap possies in the backline, but my only concern is his age and whether he isin the tigers best 22 atm? so do i save some coin and name either goddard or fisher instead?

would love to hear from some tiger fans on this one....

Grigg or Haselby ?

I'd probably take Grigg, i'm not sure but i think Grigg will probably take Stevens' spot in the midfield (maybe ask Carlton board on this). Haselby seems to much risk for me. He will probably be real good in the 2nd half of the season, but the 1st half it seems he may struggle. He could get injured a bit too.

Both these players don't fill me with much confidence though.

Bowden is a bit to high in price, his price would go down at some stage. Goddard is playing in the midfield and looks rather good. I'd take Goddard

Haselby - most TOG, most engrained in the team, good user of the ball (Yes hes slow but who cares). Young midfield should also see him get abit of the ball as he will probably place himself the best.

Hey guys who would you pick out of...

Reilly, Grigg, Hasleby.

Grigg for me. He has looked good this pre-season and there was an article on the AFL website the other day about him looking forward to a "full time midfield role"

sorry for another one guys... but i am stumped on this one.

Didak...Harvey or Richo...

Personally, would go Didak, then Harvey and finally Richo.
Would leave richo until last, who knows how his body will hold up through the season. But save a trade and a spot in your team for him come finals.

Dont think there is a lot in it between Didak and Harvey. Have read that harvey is very consistant which is good, and will play a lot in the midfield which helps the score. But Didak is my pick, roams up the ground, but will also land a few goals to help the score. And it looks like the Pies will be a good DT team this year and use alot of the ball.
