I would love to see another Ebert in 7. I am not sure if it would put too much pressure on Brad though.

I guess it is up to him. He strikes me as the kind of kid who would wear it with pride and relish it.

I don't think Newton, Young and Curnow have done anything to warrant new numbers TBH.

Cassisi and Broadbent changed their numbers after 1 season without doing anything to warrant new numbers. I'd also argue Marlon and Moff didn't warrant new numbers either. I moved Curnow as I doubt we'll have a #48 guernsey next year.

OTOH, I'm not sure what a player has to do to warrant a new number

Not spend most of the year in the SANFL reserves would be a good start. Marlon and Moff had at least played AFL when they got new numbers. Although you made a fair point on Curnow.
