I agree with your comment that it was hard to find a player that won their respective position last night. It was a truly poor performance across the board. Considering this I'm surprised that the margin was so close. Beams having a down night comparitive to his recent form and Pendles absence was felt. Goldsack was really poor forward but even worse when switched back. I think we need another forward target to help Cloke out, Dawes just isn't providing a chop out. With Tarrant playing forward in the VFL I think a swap with him for Paine would be wise. Tarrant FF, Cloke CHF and Dawes either dropped for Ceglar or HFF. He might go alright with a bit of pressure taken off him. I feel he would benefit from some confidence in the twos.

I am thinking thats about right. Lets just put it down to a poor night after 10 very good weeks.

I think you have to persist with Dawes but Witts would have to be getting close for mine. I would play him over Ceglar as his kicking has looked appalling at times.

Truly find it odd that people give Maxwell 5 votes

I think Ceglar has more versatility in terms of him playing forward. If Tarrant were to go to full forward i'd see that second ruckman spending more time half forward than deep which Ceglar is more suited to. I also think Ceglar offers as much/more in terms of his hitouts compared to Witts at this stage too.

Changes for next week

Out: Buckley, Clarke, Williams, Wellingham, Paine
In: Tarrant, Didak, Brown, Seedsman, Pendlebury[/quote]

Keep Clarke.
He was a late call up and had no real role except for a short spell on Judd.(where he got murdered)
Basically, we have no more taggers apart from Clarke. There is no point bring in Martin Clarke for one game, destroying his confidence and sending him back to the 2s.
He has been servicable and is still learning the game.

I would like to see how we would go with Wood seriously

We could if he was given a chance to do so.

Not really fair that he never gets more than a week or two to get a rhythm going. I still think that if given a serious chance, he'd be better than Jolly. But I'm 99.99% sure I'm in the minority on that one.
