Jolly for mine, I think he will pinch hit forward a bit this year.

mine is Hall & Medhurst Vs Campbell & Mayne and use spare 110k elsewhere?

thanks

I personally would only choose 1 of the 4 players, but if I had a choice I'd pick Hall & Medhurst over Campbell & Mayne..

Sandilands and S.Fisher versus Ottens and Goddard

Obviously the underlined is the preferred player for that positions

Re: Anthony Morabito or Jack Trengrove

neither

both are EXTREMELY over priced

Any player that will get regular games in the midfield at <$200k is an absolute bargain.

Neither have impressed me that much but they're sure to improve. Only question in my mind is whether or not they'll play. I still prefer Martin and Barlow but both these guys are still an option.

Sandilands. I get the feeling that he's going to overtake Cox this year as the #1 ruck man.

I Like Macdonald and Jolly there Tom. I think Jolly will do well this year with the pies.

What about BERNIE VINCE vs JOBE WATSON

Bernie Vince is ready to explode IMO. Have to take him above Jobe. Based on last years scores, Vince has more of an ability to get the monster scores.

Hmmm.

Sam Fisher and Matthew Kreuzer

OR

Joel Macdonald and Darren Jolly?

I'd prob go with Jolly/Macdonald option. I don't think Kruezer will have a great year like he did last. He needs to stay in the ruck where his suited. Also with Fisher i think Gilbert will keep stealing his points.

Mine is Greenwood vs Ladson and Westhoff vs Dangerfield. I keep changing my mind on it.

Bold For mine

ok mine is who to leave out as my keepers in my backline i can have 3
Drummond
Enright
Sam Gilbert
Hodge

Who do i leave out?

ok my Ruck Combo Sandi and Hille with $4100 in the bank VS Jolly and Nic Nat with $55 900 in the bank to up grade others?

I like the first combo better, because reliability, but cash is cash. NicNat could fire this year, I'm not sure out of him and Hille, but there is Big Cox around.

MY QUESTION:

Darren Jolly and Chris Masten
OR
David Hille and Bernie Vince?

Quite the dilemma for me.

Re: Anthony Morabito or Jack Trengrove

I agree with Borrat.

Scully, Trengrove and Morabito have showed nothing at all yet to warrant picking them with their high price tags attached.

Why would you pick these three guys when you can pick Martin, Barlow and Jetta (later two way cheaper and shown more too)

Re: Anthony Morabito or Jack Trengrove

Around that price range definately stick with Dumbstin. GRRRR:thumbsu:

I'd go Hille and Vince,
I somehow see them scoring more than the other two..

Armitage and Goodes
or
J Brown and Vince??

Has to be Brown and Vince. Both have the ability to get huge SC scores.

Goodes is a SC jet, but IMO Armitage (whilst a good player) will get limited oppurtunity when the Saints midfield is back to full strength come Rd 1.

Hey guys,

T.Lockyer + P.Medhurst

vs

R.Okeefe + C.Mayne

Option 2. ROK is a reliable supercaoch gun, particularly with more time in the midfield this year. By all reports (including 5 goals last night), Mayne is primed for a breakout year (providing he can stay on the park). Still a risk, but counterbalanced by ROK I feel.

Saying that, Lockyear is always safe, but highly unlikely to increase in value and possibly on the downward slope of his career. If, and it's a big if, Medhurst returns to 2008 form, he will be great value.

But in the end, I'd go option 2.

My question involves 3 similarly priced forward players:

B. Harvey Vs S. Higgins Vs C. Sylvia

Is Harvey past it? Can he regain his 2008 form of 110+ or will the younger roo brigade command more onball time. Still seems good value at 490.

Higgins: Averaged over 90 last year even though he appeared to be battling OP. Can he take the next step and go 100+? Or is he too risky in terms of injury?

Sylvia: Maybe it's because im a deluded Melbourne fan, but if his head is on straight he could rack up some very, very big scores. I guess the issue is that he's in his 6th season or so, and has not done it yet. What's changed?

Thoughts appreciated, thanks guys!

I'd say boomer.. Ive pencilled him into my side since the end of last year. He's a proven champion player with alot of pride. He didn't get a good run at it last year and I think with the added pressure of captain he is more than able to go back to his 08' form, now hes back to 100% fitness.

My dilemma is S. Burgoyne vs. M. McVeigh.... 5th midfeild position and I cant decide who is going to fill it better.

Tough call really, McVeigh is suspended round one and has a tendancy to get rubbed out. Burgoyne is under a bit of an injury cload but could really rack them up with hawthorns midfeild feeding it out to him. I would prob lean towards Burgoyne massive upside if he can stay fit.

Mine is Robert Murphy vs Josh Kennedy

ok my Ruck Combo Sandi and Hille with $4100 in the bank VS Jolly and Nic Nat with $55 900 in the bank to up grade others?

Sandi (consensus is he run riot this year) + Hille (same combo as me)

But with the $55K willl it be used for any particular purpose

MY QUESTION:

Darren Jolly and Chris Masten
OR
David Hille and Bernie Vince?

Quite the dilemma for me.

tough one - Hille + Vince due to Vince's potential... Furthermore, there is a chance Hille will become a premium, but Masten isn't so, you'll have to use a trade
Armitage and Goodes
or
J Brown and Vince??

Tough one, but I'd go Vince and J.Brown...same reason as above in that J.Brown and Vince are premiums, but Armitage isn't so, you'll have to use a trade

ROK and Mayne...ROK is an animal..

My dilemma is S. Burgoyne vs. M. McVeigh.... 5th midfeild position and I cant decide who is going to fill it better.

Burger as he'll play round 1 where McVeigh won't and because McVeigh can be an angry player..

Hi I have a couple of questions guys -

Dangerfield and Ziebell vs Hall and Medhurst

and

Cooney and Ladson vs Burgoyne and Hunt

Cheers mate. :thumbsu:

I'd go with Enright and the spare cash over Bock.

Enright is ultra consistant and doesn't miss with injury while Bock is a great player too but more injury prone. So in the end you have to go Enright. :)

Agree with Hall + Medhurst and Cooney & Ladson

I'd choose Enright over Bock anyway (extra 10k is a bonus)
