Players Numbers

Can anybody help? I'm trying to find out if the players numbers have been decided yet, as I'm currently working on some shirt designs for the new year.

or

Is Matthew Whelan going to still have the number 45?

i think they will pretty much stay the same. The only things that have to be sorted are the numbers for the new players.

Ellis might as well retire right now i reckon. LOL. and yeah Jams has like number 40. so hopefully he will stay long enough to meet the criteria of fave player, cos he was one of my faves at North.

I think they wanted Matty to change last year along with Beama and co. but he refused, infact both him and Gus refused to let go of their number no matter what number was given to them! (i think they wanted to give Matty 12!).

apparently from what i heard players are sooooo fussy and **** about their numbers i mean look at the whole plugga thing...
but u gotta admit #45 suits matty

I agree with it though. When you come to a club you are given a number and you wear that number with pride each week. I know that i wouldn't change if i was in that situation, its a bad luck thing!
Robbo changed from 42 to 24 which i guess is not that bad seeing as the numbers are reversed and that he wore 24 ever since he was a little boy playing for like under 7's or whatever so he wanted to go back to that number.

Yeah I never understood the number 1 thing.
And also they should have given one of the new rookies the 33 jumper, it would have been a good chance to move on and start fresh after the whole Farmer thing.

u know what? i think we should have had a number that the captain wears. i know that port do it. The captain ALWAYS wears number 1. its a tradition, and i know that melbourne hardly have any traditions that spring to mind.
