Many happy returns ... soon
Bleh. If either Medhurst or Didak are brought back through the VFL, I won't be happy. Both of these players are needed in the senior side right now and I don't think a week at VFL level will be beneficial.
Many happy returns ... soon
MICK Malthouse says some Collingwood stars are a week closer to running out in the senior side, but insists he won't be rushing them all back at once.
But he says established stars such as Alan Didak, Paul Medhurst and Anthony Rocca wouldn't be automatic call-ups to the senior team.
To ensure some injury-hit Magpies get appropriate minutes in their legs while at the same time not limiting the team's ability to rotate, some could find themselves making their way back to the seniors via the VFL.
