Good bloke
Kelly - check
S Johnno - check
Ling - Check
Tenace - Check

Well done fellas. Great to see our blokes (finally) responding to pressure :thumbsu:

Steve Johnson's chase was sensational.

We want that sort of commitment every week, not only when we have lost 4 straight and they've spent a couple of weeks in the two's.

Keep it up Steve :thumbsu:

Hunt - Started on the bench. Nothing special but no major clangers.
Pulled his head in abit except for one outburst that the ump warned him about.
Still need to lift.

That alone would almost get him a gig next week. Just flew past Hunt.

Shows what a couple of weeks in the VFL will do to a player, he finally looked hungry for it.

Tenace was all over the place in the second half.

SJ Dogs chase. :D:D:D:D me dead.... awesome.

Good to see all the boys go over to him also. Great team stuff from the Dog.

Tenace -Showed alot, great goal, great last qtr.

Kelly -Much better. Great skill shown tonight.

Ling - So much heart shown tonight. Did everything, kicked goals, kicked long, tackled. Great Game!!

Of course Charlie isn't under the pump. He'll get his free ride to his 50th game this week.

Kelly was good.A couple of times he stuffed up by playing on when he shouldn't have

Dog is Dog.You never know what you'll get,but he was a good Dog tonight

Ling seemed to do well with King & Ottens dominating the ruck

Tenace had a sensational last qtr :thumbsu:

My wife is scared for the TV when Charlie is in the team and I have a stubby in hand. at least he did not fall over as much tonight. Still had the goofy face though..

Kingsley would be on that list now.

I think i would support that theory..

No goals in 2 games of footy is nothing to be proud of at the minute.. nor was that shocker of a shocker of the KING of shockers at goal.. everyone knows the one.

Back to the ol drawing board i rekon.

Commendation where it's due to Dog, but the interest for me will still be in the weeks to come. If anything, it would have been a worry if he didn't come with a team-like mentality working its way around in his head.

That being said, his overall game was much better (I suspect that tackle to be talked about, and rightly so amongst other things), and it was fairly evident that he, at the very least, thought the plays through before following with the disposal (even if the resultant decision wasn't always the best, though I suspect that will come as he [hopefully] adjusts and finds the balance in when to do the team thing and when to take the shot).

And I might add, credit to Kane for stepping up his game in that final quarter.

To be fair, his game was ordinary up until that point, regardless of playing time, but if that final quarter of his is any indicator, all the promise generated from the pre-season is not lost yet. Whilst I don't agree with the entirety of Dermie's rant in the Hun on Friday, the point he raises regarding pace in our midfield, or lack thereof, is one of substance.

Kane's copped abit of criticism over the past few weeks, and rightly so, but if he can continue to build on that type of quarter, that extra facet he brings to our midfield brigade would be dearly valued.

I've always been a Johnno fan, and he showed why he can potentially be the difference between us and another contender come September.

Make no mistake, he is one of the most talented players running around on an AFL list.

We just need it consistently now...

Agreed, his last quarter was sensational.
