Opinion Playing out of position

Player positions.

Watson - full forward/CHF. Back with the right matchup. Lose man back.
Bell - Center. Wing. Half forward/forward pocket. Not sure skills are up to it as a defender. Good when you can get him in a position where he can wind up and receive like coming in off the square. Great when he builds momentum, not so good with his hands under the ruckman. Would like to see him tag the bigger stronger ball winners.
Sheehan - Small/medium defender. Possible wingman or forward and maybe even in the middle a bit. Played as a forward in Ireland.
Watson - FF/CHF. Can't personally see Watto making it as a back but would be very happy to see him get 10+ games as a forward next year. His 2nd and 3rd goals in rnd 23 were fairly impressive and I felt he adds a presence up forward that I can't see when he's playing back.
Bell - Forward pocket/flank. Rotating mid. Kicked a few goals in the latter part of the season but gets exposed in defense. Also lacks vision and decision making when quickly entering our F50, much prefer him being receiver not playmaker.
Sheehan - Anywhere bar ruck and KPP. Love Sheehan. Already one of my favourite players. Seems comfortable near a ball up and reads and times it quite well, when he's able to handball and bounce without thinking, I think he could be a very good midfielder that can chip in with more than an odd goal. For now, I'd like to see him play on the wing and then try his hand as a follower when ready. If he can become an inside mid, his pace will be handy breaking the line.

Sheehan reads the game as well as anyone and his kicking but more so his vision is top shelf. Body size, strength, speed, ball handling all seem pretty good, seems decent over head too. Who knows how far he can go.

Juddy should rotate between the midfield and forward 50. He still seems strong enough to handle 1-on-1s and can dog some goals pretty decently. This would also give Daisy some more time in the midfield, which he definitely seemed to be working towards late in the year.

hypothetically perhaps touhy could play armfield's forward tagging role to get him nearer the goals and midfield. armfield could still go back like earlier in his career, had plenty of dash but is more likely to be outbodied than touhy.

It's not completely out of the question, but no, I wouldn't have thought so.

Warnock/Wood will share first ruck responsibilities, with Casboult surely the preferred option to provide relief for short periods of time here and there.

The only time I could see Jones being considered as a relief ruck option would be if Casboult was to find himself out of the side for whatever reason.

They might go as they did the end of last season with Wood and Casboult. If Warnock cant do stuff around the ground, he's a liability.

Interesting.

Over here they reckon the Hoff will be going through the middle, and I'd say 3rd man up in ruck contests.

With big 206 lurching around, we get Cripps doing the same, may do okay.
