Good man. If I could have got it for that price when I bought mine, I would have done so too. Mine is good, but that one looks a bit easier to handle, plus the full rig is heaps better if you go down that path in the future.

Was just looking at their site, probably won't be buying it for a long time at that price.

How many are getting this at launch.

Im considering canceling my order, im in a gaming slump right now where where i just CBF playing right now other then some Madden a few times a week. There are some games later in the year that im getting, and just not sure if i will use it after the first few weeks. Never used the Wii much, and never use Xbox one.

Did you do the demo when they were at shopping centres?
 
Giantbomb are live streaming, holy shit this thing has a lot of cables. Was kind of expecting it to be a little more lightweight.

Early signs not good, this looks wonky as. Really hope it doesn't kill the VR push.

How does it look wonky? I haven't had that feeling when i've been able to test the headset

Played Driveclub, Batman and did the underwater dive

Picture quality could be better, but that's my only concern with the units right now. Pretty pumped for what they'll be able to do in a year or more's time. The games are good now already.... more dev time will really ramp up the quality IMO

May not be a day 1 purchase for most, but the early adopters will love it

Everything is moving even when Jeff is completely still, headtracking seems terrible. Jeff and Brad said they had the same problem at home, and now the same issue in a studio which is a better setup than majority of people will have. Reading reviews it just seems like the compromises (the camera and move controllers) just aren't up to scratch with the main competitors in Oculus and Vive.

I've played it and had zero issues with the ones you've mentioned.
 
Yep, also had zero issues with head tracking and every other review I have read on it says head tracking is ****ing perfect.

On a side note, discovered this yesterday. No release date yet but holy shit if they can make it look that good in VR :o

I lied. I kept going. Seems the settled on it being more a software issue than the VR though as they said it worked fine on some games and shit on others. The also said Batman was ****ed and unplayable then he came back another time and it was fine.

Actually that example with the controller is pretty ****ed up.

Hopefully its just an update that they don't have yet but the demo kits did or something like that.

They're probably as good as you are going to get in terms of VR, they've got dozens and dozens of hours with all of the headsets on VOD. Jeff getting nauseous is a bit of a worry because he has never really shown that as in issue elsewhere.
 
The PS4 Pro has killed the PSVR hype for me. And dont know if my lounge is big enough for the recommended room size without moving things around since my living room is just like a rectangle.

The $500 will go to a 4K TV or a 4K Avr which i will also need to play games in 4K if i want to use my speaker setup. So ill wait a year or so and by then there will be more games and not half the list being tech demos.

I hope its good and early adopters push it to be a success and it doesnt become another PS Vita

PS4 Pro ain't gonna play games in 4K so don't get too excited about that either! :p

Its using a cherkerboard 4K, but i need a new TV and might as well upgrade to 4K, but that means also getting a 4K AVR that will support my 7.1 speaker set up.
 
Been watching this giant bomb video bit by bit all week. The fat sweaty balding dude made job simulator look ****ing hilarious.
