Actually traded mine in once I realised that there was nothing of note coming out after RE7 (which was a great experience and maybe set the bar a little high).
 
I actually thought RE7 became quite boring. Still haven't got round to finishing it. Not sure I will.

Can't even remember really. It was a while ago. Think maybe back in the main house trying to get the second shotgun or something. Had been outside, done some stuff and then backtracked. Found it really quite boring after the initial few hours.

Interesting. I love the immersion factor so I think I'll be easily pleased with VR. I've wanted it since I was a boy therefore it's like a dream come true for me.

I'll post final thoughts on the game when I finish it.

I like VR. Just got bored with that game quickly. I have high hopes for the flight sims and driving games. Eagle flight, Eve and Drive Club gave a peek at what is possible. Sounds like Ace Combat will be first cab off the rank. Hopefully I'm finished with Fallout 4 by then as I really only have time to focus on one game at a time these days.

This is why, imo, VR is still best for people who play sims, and game mainly on PC. Dirt is awesome on psvr, but over on the pc, for example, I can play flight sims like fsx, dcs world and IL2 in vr; driving sims like AC, raceroom experience, i-racing, dirt, euro/american truck sim, as well as a few others. Space sims too, are covered quite well with Elite Dangerous. These are games people typically put hundreds, if not thousands of hours into.

The point is, if you aren't playing sims right now, then your VR headset is probably going to spend most of the time collecting dust. We need games with more depth and longevity to them, but outside of the seated experience and complex mechanics of sims, no dev has *really* come up with anything worthwhile yet. I'm sure it will change and within a year or so we will be playing some games with real meat on them, but for now, it is what it is.

Korix is great! only $23 for a very immersive tower defense game. The multi player is great!!

Anyways, Farpoint anyone? Is looking like it will be my next VR purchase with the aim controller. Surely there will be a bundle..
 
Yeah its been pretty sparse on my end. I grabbed a few of the experiences for 12 bucks or whatever it costs but haven't even bothered looking at them. Farpoint will hopefully change that.

I'm hoping you don't have to keep the gun pointed at the screen the whole time given it has a dpad (I think?). My arms start aching just at the the thought of it.
 
I'm sure you will only have to point at the screen to shoot. My shit knee and hip are already crying at the thought of crouching, but I asked somebody who has played it that said it's possible to play seated as long as you have room to flick it over your shoulder to reload and change guns.

Ah good question, I just assumed it would be because it's from the Job Simulator devs. And yes, that seems to be what it is. I still don't have a headset, waiting for refinement and/or price drop.

Oh didn't realise it was from the same guys also. Surely it will make its way over then. As soon as it does, I'll be on it like a fat kid on a cupcake.

Yeah I was humming and harring about it but have a read a few reviews which have changed me from a fence sitter to a buyer.
 
Looking forward to hearing people's thoughts. I think I might hold off.
