I started a thread about threesomes. But I think Suzi was offended and reported it to a mod.

Does anyone really believe that children are going to find out anything they don't already know from these boards?

It amuses me that so many people are concerned about the effects of risque material on OTHER people, never themselves. This is because they reckon such material doesn't affect them, but they can see how it would affect others. The reason the material doesn't affect them is because they are mature. Really?

The assumption built in to the argument put by the do-gooders is that there is only one interpretation available of any piece of writing film, painting, whatever. Their's. Sorry to disappoint you, but there are many times more interpretations than there are objects of interpretation.

Censorship is a far greater obscenity than anything found on these boards.

Sbagman's post was reasonable, I aint interested in coming here to read about bodily functions etc, but I'm not the "censor police" either.

So I'm not going to try and sound righteous like some old fool in this thread, suffice to say it is a parents responsibility to monitor and control what their children see.

Always sad to see so many "past it incompetents" try to create for themselves a position of "censor police"

I recently had two twins of age 8 tell me all about the double meanings in the latest Austin Powers movie.

I think the main issue of concern in all of this talk about what is and isn't be appropriate on BF, is that the site should be free of material in which younger posters could be lured into actively engaging in various activities with people who could be out to harm or deceive them (this being the main issue behind internet policies for children).

So far, I doubt there has been any such activity on BF. Likewise, anything that 'has' been below board has always been deleted, as far as I have seen.

As far as keeping the site from looking 'tacky', well, those who continually resort to un-witty sexual references are those who look the more foolish for doing so.
