Eddie van Halen put his iconic yellow and black guitar in Dimebag's coffin. He was going to put a replica in, but explained that Dimebag was an original so he deserved the original.

I never quite understood 'He died doing what he loved (playing golf, listening to his favourite music etc), he'd be happy.'

Stuff that - I'm doing what I love!! Don't kill me now - kill me when I'm at the dentist, or visiting the wife's relatives. Not on the golf course, thanks.
 
The Constructicons are the only Generation 1 Transformers combiner group to have six members - like the others, they each had one robot per limb, but the combined robot had two make up the head and torso.
 
The streets of the Adelaide CBD are in a grid-like structure bordered by North, South, East and West Terraces.

The main street is King William Street which runs north-south, but of the streets that cross it running west-east the street name always changes.

As some examples Hindley Street is to the west of King William, to the east it becomes Rundle Street/Mall. Currie Street becomes Grenfell Street at King William, Waymouth Street becomes Pirie Street, Grote Street becomes Wakefield Street, Gouger Street becomes Angas Street and Sturt Street becomes Halifax Street.

Of the north-south streets that run through Adelaide city, they are known as 'Street' in the area bounded by the terraces, the street name changes and to road after South Terrace (for example King William Street turns into Peacock Road) but north of North Terrace some retain their names only are 'Roads'. For example, King William Road and Frome Roads become King William Street and Frome Streets, while others change their name as they do at South Terrace.
 
There was an old tale that a road cant cross the Kings Highway ie all roads stop at the Kings Road

Bing Crosby's song 'White Christmas', first recorded in 1942, is one of the biggest hits of all time. However, just a year later Christmas would become a far less pleasant time for the singer and due to bad memories at festive season, for years afterwards for Bing Crosby and his family. While the family were decorating their house for Christmas 1943 some decorative lights shorted out, sparking an electrical fire that set the Christmas tree alight, the fire spreading quickly and the entire house burning to the ground. Crosby, his wife and their kids escaped the blaze, but apparently and understandably all of them were traumatized by the event for the rest of their lives.

Growing up, my parents always banned Christmas lights from the tree and the house, and were unwavering in this resolve. Looking back at the Crosby incident and the disturbing number of Christmas-time house fires caused by lights, my siblings and I are eternally grateful to our parents.

This year marks 60 years since the iconic group 'The Four Seasons' - Frankie Valli, Bob Gaudio, Tommy De Vito and Nick Massi - released the single 'Sherry' which quickly became a Number 1 smash hit and propelled the quartet of young men from New Jersey to international superstardom.

While 'The Four Seasons' is a catchy and memorable name for a band, they are not the only group to use 'The Four ...." as their moniker. In the mid 1950s there was 'The Four Aces', whose 1954 version of 'Mr. Sandman' was the one used in 'Back to the Future'. Around this time there was also 'The Four Lads', and in the late 1950s and very early 1960s the better known 'The Four Preps', their biggest hit the catchy 'Santa Catalina/26 Miles' in 1959. Later there was also the Bobby Fuller Four, but their career was sadly cut short by the tragic and premature death of Bobby Fuller in 1966.
