Pokemon Tournament

They have online battling now which makes it a bit more interesting. Build a team then battle other people. The game itself is pretty easy to beat for anyone with a brain.

Thats the interesting thing about nintendo, they do make alot of stuff for young people Im hoping the switch has more than just pokemon that Id be interested in!

My housemate over here had one for a bit, but really outside the old classics of Mario Kart/Smash Brothers/Super Mario Party there wasn’t a title that really jumped out at me. Even Super Mario Party was a huge disappointment to me compared to the Mario Party games I grew up with. So few boards meant that once you’d done each one once or twice there was hardly any replayability. Whereas the N64 games I could still play over and over.

Mario Kart 64 was the go to for pres. A debt of gratitude to Beerio Kart for many good memories.

We will play 1 vs 1 battles. Bit simpler to build a team.. all the crazy strategy comes in for 2vs2 battles

I'm the opposite, find it very weird playing the old gens with no abilities (or items in Gen 1) and the different physical/special split is confusing too.

Doesn't really have the catalogue for the investment, as prime Nintendo in thee being a lot of shovelware with launch titles and no real hooks, but primarily I'm a sucker for Fire Emblem so pinched the lets go Pikachu bundle because evee is a bitch.

Decent enough screen for youtubing in the bath though, I'll give it that.

I peaced out at Pearl though, fool me once with colour coding, but you do not poke Godzilla and dish up that crap.
